Blinded By Love

Family dinner

Amber's POV,
It was 6'o clock in the evening when all my friends and family were gather around the dinning table chatting and laughing when my mom suddenly said" Kino how is your life going, planning to get any children soon"? Kino replied," that depends on what my love over here thinks", while looking at me smiling, I held my head down blushing feeling  embarrass. I then said ,"soon mom, we're still working things out" then she replied,"  you better make it quick cause am not getting any younger" which gain a  couple of laughter from the persons around the table.

Kino's POV,
I was talking with my friend Mike when Amber's mother Manorma ask me a question i turn to her quickly and replied forcing a smile looking towards my wife. I zone out their conversation after that thinking" why did I even get married to her" then a voice in my head said,"because her family is rich and you want to get some money from her before you dump her". Then I say to myself, " yes that's exactly what I'm doing, I don't love her I'm only acting like i do so I can get money from her". The only girl I truly love is Laconia, thinking of her makes me smile remembering her straight long brown hair with her lips as red as cherry and her killer body that will make any man kneel before her oh how I wish I could leave this dinner so i can go see her.

Amber's POV,
I watched my husband smiling wondering if it was what i said that makes him smile that much, looking at him makes my heart pumps faster I love him so much that I give my dear goddess praises every day for bringing him into my life, he is my joy and happiness and my family also love him also what more could I ever want. After dinner mom and dad said they were exhausted so they went to bed early but the girls and I we went upstairs to my room while the men went to the living room. We all settled in then started gossiping about our pass relationships then Marsha my friend from highschool start talking about her boyfriend who cheats on her for a college girl then she said to us " girls never trust a man because you will never know when they are cheating". That made me laugh till I fell off the bed, everyone kept looking at me as if am crazy then i regain my composure and said " my husband loves me too much he will never ever cheat on me ever" she look at me and laugh "are you 100% sure about that"? I lift my head up high with confidence and said," yes am sure" she just shrugged and said," OK fine it's your husband not mine". We all engaged ourselves in some other topics after that sipping on glasses of wine and was having so much fun.

Kino's POV,
The men and I were all gather in the living room watching a football game and drinking some beers until Thomas that is Mike's friend start talking about him and his wife relationship until the others join but I just kept sipping my beer and listening then Mike turn to me and said," hey man why are you so quiet? I replied,"  Ah it's nothing bro am fine"."OK suite yourself, anyway how are you and Amber doing"? " Ah I....its goi... I stuttered before being interrupted by a call on my phone, " excuse me for a sec Mike". I step outside and answer," hello", then the person said," hi baby it's me can you come over"? Yes! I replied "be there in 20 minutes bye love you". I went inside and head upstairs to Amber's room and knock then heard someone said" come in", I went in then call Amber for a talk outside her room when she came I force a smile then hug her and said," babe I just got a call from my office I'll step out for a while I'll be back soon", "OK call me when you're leaving the office OK love you", she replied. I gave her a hug then return downstairs grab my car keys then type in the GPS location for Laconia's house then went off.
