Crash,Chop, and Burn

Today was another meaningless day back at Mission Creek. Life is as boring as it can be and I really wish I back in New York. Around the fourth grade my parents and I moved to New York from Mission Creek. The time spent there was amazing and their was never a dull moment. I had great friends and a fun life but my mom thought it would be great if we just uprooted our life halfway across the country. Can you sense the sarcasm?

I miss New York, Mission Creek May be my first home but it's so boring compared to New York. I've only been back for a few weeks and nothing's changed. I haven't made any friends, only acquaintances.

I was standing at my locker, when I saw an old friend of mine. It was Leo and he was with his friends. "Wow,Leo made friends" I muttered.

I remember Leo from elementary school. He was scrawny back then too. We weren't best friends but we were good friends and he used to be picked on. I haven't talked to him since i've been back. I haven't really talk to anyone in general. I should say 'hi' but then the bell rings signaling everyone to class.

I stopped walking to class when I saw one of leo's friends screaming and covering his ears. Okay he's weird.

Finally, it's time for gym. The only class I was looking forward too. Coming back to this school or as I like to call it hell, the only good thing about it was gym. I was always good at gym and I was super competitive which made me be the best.

Today we're playing basketball. I see Leo and his friends talking. Its time to say 'hi'. I mean it's been a few years so I think we need to catch up.

As I walk over, I see Leo being hurled in the air by his very tall friend. Why do these weird moments keep happening between him and his friends. I think i'll say 'hi' tomorrow.

"Attention, students! The pep rally is starting,Go dingoes!" said Perry. Wow that was unexpected people said she's usually cruel and mean maybe she's changed.

Alright let's be honest I don't want to be here. The only reason I'm at the pep rally's is for school credit. I'd much rather be home finishing the ton of homework I already have.

"Hey, Lori" I turned around to find Leo. "Wow, it's been forever. How was New York? How's your mom?" he asked at a mile a minute.

"Woah. Slow your roll,that's a lot of questions."

"Sorry, it's just seems like forever since I saw you"

"Yeah it has. Anyway my moms great and New York was cool.You know lots of tall buildings and some pretty cool people. I also met this guy Tony Stank or was it stark. Anyway how about your life and your mom?".

"My life is interesting. My mom actually just got remarried."

"Oh really, I'm so happy for her tell I said congratulations!"

"I will and let me introduce you to my friends"

We walk over to where his friends were sitting. "This is Adam, Bre-" he starts but is interrupted by a girl pushing past him.

"Hi, I'm Bree. I like pony's and girl things"

"Alright" I replied a little weirded out. "Anyway before I was interrupted, This is Chase and Adam". He says pointing to who I know now as Adam and chase.
