Scarlet started up her Ford and turned to Cinder "are you going to tell me where you're going, or are we driving around aimlessly till we get there, because my grandmother only allows me so much money for gas each week,"
Cinder glanced at her scarlet-haired friend "I think I know where Kai is, take a right there" she said, pointing
"I don't see why that's any of your concern, his parents obviously know where he is or they would have called the school" she said turning the wheel in that direction
"And then a left onto Auroral Street, I care because it's my fault he's hiding" she said "how is that possibly your fault, it's not like you embarrassed him in the middle of class or something" Scarlet said
Cinder bit her lip "Turn onto that street and keep going, I kinda did..." she looked at Scarlet who had a look on her face saying that if she didn't spill she would be sorry.
"A few weeks back I started getting presents in my locker every day before lunch, I obviously had a secret admirer, and then turn left, Peony kept insisting it was him, but I didn't believe her..." she trailed off "well anyways two days ago I saw him drop something on the floor accidentally and I bent over to pick it up and hand it to him and I saw my name so I read it. And it was him trying to tell me to meet him at his family's cafe, it was him this whole time. He got so scared and ran out of the room, the teacher told everyone to stay in their seats and she chased after him after a few minutes she came back in the room and continued like nothing had happened. No one's seen him since."
When she finished her speech she lifted her eyes from her lap, where they had fallen mid-story and looked over at Scarlet, who laughed to herself "wow, and people say I'm crazy"
She turned into the already packed driveway " Are you okay?"
"I have to be."
Filler chapter, sorry! And sorry @Micky1968 I know you were expecting this on Sunday but my dad "trimed" the bushes (he was drunk and pissed at my mom for making him do anything so he practically cut down the bush) and I had to pick up all the leaves. Would it be sad if I said this is one of the longest chapters I've ever writen? Yes, okay
