We stay a-float near an abandoned island from time to time. I think the captain noticed the stirring as well because, with fear in his eyes, he informed us that we were going to "Our" island. We made it there in a short time, partially because of the fact that it was a very short distance from where the girl said that chilling message. The Captain, who always has people check to make sure there is no dangers on the island, was the first one on land, he seemed to be in a hurry to get away from the water. We set up a temporary camp, and Captain Jacque went straight into his tent, which he had us pitch the farthest away from the water.

When we were camped at this island, which i will refer to as Trésor from now on, the captain began acting weirder and weirder. I only ever spend time with Jacque if he specifically requests my company. I was actually quite surprised when his second in command came running up to me. "Charlie, The Captain wants you in his tent, He sounded urgent, I'd get down there before he makes you walk the plank." "I'll go right now." After that brief encounter I took off, sprinting to Jacque's tent.

...

"Charlie, please tell me you saw it to, I'm not going crazy am I?" He pleaded, with a type of fear in his brown eyes the color of molten gold. How have i never noticed how beautiful his eyes are? I wondered in my head. Alright snap out of it charlie, tell the captain what you saw. "I... I don't know what I saw, maybe we had a bit too much rum, and it was going to our heads. I may not know what I saw, but I know what she told me while I was keeping her in the hold." "Go on man, don't keep me waiting."

"She told me how she, along with other pirates, believed that Sirens where the girls who were thrown off the ships, and that instead of dying like we wanted them to, they adapted to their surroundings, their legs grew together, and they grew gills. She said she believed they lured sailors to their deaths as a form of almost revenge, even though the sailor they killed wasn't the one who tried to kill them." After explaining this to Jacque the fear in his eyes multiplied. "I would like for you to go check a lagoon I found for any sign of these so called sirens. If you see any sign of them I want you to report straight to me, I'm sure we are just being silly, but I don't want you to alert any of the other crew members over a silly pirates tale."

After following his not so specific instructions I thought he had listed them wrong, for all I found was a dense grassy area, not wanting to disobey the captain I decided to move it aside to see if I could find anything, and almost as if it were magic I did. I know that sounds really cliche, but it's true, behind the dense green foliage i found a lagoon. "How did Jacque even find this place?" I muttered aloud while wiping the beads of sweat that were forming on my face away.

*Authors Notes*

So, this part is kind of really basic, I'll have some more interesting things happening soon. I think I might add a little more character description in these as well, just to give it more life. I hope you guys like it.
