A Fresh New Summer

(Frisk)
The first few days, Frisk just chilled out in the basement playing on a console downstairs. Asriel typically was on the computer in his room. Tonight, Alphys and Undyne are coming over to marathon some anime. She heard her mother call out to her children to come have a treat. As Frisk came upstairs, she saw her mother with pie cradled in her hands with oven mitts. The habit of making pie had faded a few years ago, so she was very exited to have some after all this time from her mother. As she walked over to the table, she heard Asriel open his door and walk in.
(Asriel)
"Mom made pie!" Exclaimed Asriel. Knowing this, he rushed to the table next to Frisk. He wondered what flavor it would be. His mom had made vanilla to slug pie, and to him, they were all delicious. He hadn't had a pie from his mom in a month, so he was excited to have it. He glanced at Frisk, eager to have some pie, smiling. His heart always dropped to that smile, and he might start blushing if he kept looking, so he focused on his plate.
(Toriel)
"Would they still like cherry pie?" She thought. "I haven't made it in forever." Toriel placed the pieces of pie in front of her children, eager to see if they still liked it. She didn't know why she was so worried every time she made pie, by this point she should be used to them loving it, but she always seemed stressed out on their opinion. Sans and his brother were coming in an hour with Undyne and Alphys for some anime marathoning. But if she was honest, she is probably just going to hang out with sans upstairs.
(Asriel)
Cherry pie? He hadn't tasted this stuff since who knows how long. He still loved it none the less. After finishing eating, he scooted out preparing to get up. "Leaving already?" Frisk asked. Asriel smirked "Am I too quick for you?" He said jokingly. Frisk scooted out and stood out. "I dunno, I think I could get to the bean bag before you. Asriel was immediately aware of what was happening. He jumped out of his chair and ran towards the stair case. But Frisk was on his tail. Frisk was not ready for the sudden stop at the bottom and flew into Asriel, knocking him over. Frisk blushed. The kind of physical contact she was participating in was too much for her, so she got up. They were now in a position too suspicious, so Frisk got up. Asriel attempted to recover and run to the bean bag, but by the time he got there, the was a blanket on top of it with the outline of Frisk poking out. He slowly walked the rest of the way, then got his face close to where hers was under the blanket. He was so quiet that Frisk peeked out to see if he was there. He said in a casual voice, " Hi." Frisk giggled and stayed still. The moment seemed so perfect, so he kissed her forehead. She blushed! He felt himself staring to blush. "Sorry gotta get back to something!" He said in a non-convincing manner. As he started to speed up towards the stairs, he heard Frisk giggle. Then he ran up.
(Frisk)
"Did that just happen!?" Frisk thought. She could still feel herself blushing. Did he really feel the same about her? It felt like thousands of thoughts were going through her mind, not being able to focus anymore! Frisk decided to take a breather and go to her room. Frisk went upstairs and down the hall past Asriel's room. She shut her door behind her and flopped onto her bed.
=========45 minutes later=========
(Asriel)
"Bye mom!" Asriel called and headed out the door. While everybody was marathoning, he decided to go and hang out with monster kid at the public park. "Yo" monster kid greeted cooly. "Howdy MK, What's up?" Asriel asked. Nobody really knew his actual name, so he just used MK to save time. (And to save time typing) "Not much" MK replied. "Ready to go?" "Yea, let's head out" They talked and walked the whole way, when they got there they sat below a pavilion. "So, you made a move finally on Frisk?" MK asked. Asriel scratched the back of his head. "Yea, I guess I was in the moment" "Yo, that's great! Maybe you can start like, talking to her!" "Yea but..." Asriel leaned back. "I'm not sure that helped. Plus, I gotta wait like three more months to ask her if I wanna be in any kind of relationship!" MK rested his head on the table connected to the bench. "I'm not forcing you, but that's my recommendation." "Hey guys" Frisk butted in. "Watcha talking about?" Asriel and monster hid both jumped, because of the conversation they were just having about her was intended to be private to them. "Uuuu" Asriel was trying to think. He didnt expect her out of all people to be here. "More like what are you doing here? I thought you were marathoning anime, weren't you?" He asked. "We were, but Alphys and Undyne ended up making out, Sans and Toriel... I'm not so sure where they went. He probably went with her on a shortcut somewhere. So, I just decided to hang out with you guys." Frisk replied. "Well great" Asriel thought. "Let's just hope I can keep it together long enough. " we are just chilling out at the park" MK answered. Frisk grinned. She slapped Asriels arm and yelled "tag, you're it!" And darted towards the playground. Monster kid followed, attempting to escape Asriel. As soon as he got out onto the grass, he tripped. Asriel clenched his fists, ready to run. MK laughed, got up and started running. He was about to get up, but then he saw the sunset. It almost felt like it told him, this summer is going to be a promising one. Asriel ran off towards his friends, his shadow following him right by his side.
