“Hey mate, that’s enough,” Harry said to the guy that had been annoying Eliza ever since they went over to the next club.

They had laughed at Eliza for choosing a guy that couldn’t hold his liquor. He ended up passing out after two more rounds of drinks. As far as Eliza was concerned, the night was just starting. Enzo was only a notch of the first round.

Eliza had found the whole thing amusing.

Then, the guy was just persistent. He took her arm and tugged her forward.

Now, being around guys that had a tendency to pretend that they gave a damn about a girl that came with them, one of them was bound to get into a fight.

That guy just happened to be Zayn.

“She just said no, asshole,” he said, before pushing the guy away. He looked well ready for fisticuffs.

Now seemed a good time for Eliza to intervene, as much as she wanted to see how this would play out. She went right in front of Zayn and held him back. “Zayn, you don’t want this in the papers tomorrow morning, okay? I’m your PR person. If you hit him, it’ll be my stress. Do me a favor and don’t hit him.”

Zayn kept looking over her shoulder with a threatening look on his face. Eliza turned around and held on to Zayn’s face to make sure that she was behind her.

“Just walk away, man,” she said to the guy, whoever he was. “We don’t need the trouble.”

“But I do,” he said, taking out a phone and pointing it at them. He was taking photos this whole time. No wonder he kept sticking around. He wanted a good shot.

Eliza looked over her shoulder. Well, she wasn’t expecting that. “You can’t hit him, but I sure can,” she told Zayn.

She got a bit of a head start. She may have consumed a lot of drinks, but the drug was working pretty well, with the adrenaline rush coursing through her.

She hit him square on the jaw. It was quite a good shot, if she was being honest.

“Nice one,” Liam couldn’t help but say. His head was tilted a bit to the right as if he could get a better look.

The guy called her a very rude word before he wiped his bottom lip with his thumb. He gave one last cutting look at them before walking away.

Someone’s hands were on her shoulders and she was being shaken very rigorously. “This one’s a savage,” Louis said. It was him that kept shaking her.

He kept bouncing up and down, using her shoulders to keep him suspended longer in the air.

“Chill out,” she said, trying to shake him off. “It’s one punch. I can give you one later if you want a demonstration again.”

“I wish we caught that on video!” Harry said, looking terribly disappointed.

“No we don’t,” she said, smiling as she headed back to the table.

They were all very tipsy at this point, if not drunk already. The boys were getting a bit touchy, but she didn’t really care anymore.

Zayn had pulled her to his lap. They had both taken the drug and the feeling of skin felt very good. He kept his chin on her shoulder as he kept banter with the rest of the guys.

The beers were passed around, since the hard drinks were getting a little too much for everyone.

“Go on, have a bit,” Eliza said, passing some to the bodyguards. They looked much obliged for it, and had wide grins on their faces as she handed it to them. She needed more girls to get into this. Not a lot of women on the crew liked going out much, since they were tired. They really needed to reassess their logic. Once in a while, fun was a good thing.

Zayn’s lips went to the nape of her neck.

“Can I get another hit of that, Aims?” he said, leaning his forehead on the the top of her spine. “This really is good stuff.”

“Front pocket. Hand it around to the others if they want.”

“Ha. Doubt it.”

“Okay. I give it to you as a gift then,” she said, as he slipped his hand inside her pocket.

“Cool,” Zayn said, putting a piece onto his tongue to dissolve.

“I think there are only two left, so I don’t need to worry about you overdoing it.”

“Where do you get this stuff?”

“Found it,” she lied, hoping he was hit enough not to ask questions.

“Come on. I won’t tell,” he said, tightening his hold on her. He was getting considerably comfortable, especially since she would have treated them extremely badly if she didn’t need to get them on her side.

It was just like now. She obviously wouldn’t have been hanging out with them if they didn’t like her company in the least.

At worst, she was tolerable.

“I’m getting back there, since you all are being so boring. If I wanted to just hang out, I would’ve gone to a pub with you guys.”

“We just wanted to chill,” Louis said, laughing. “You’re the one who ended up dragging us to these clubs.”

She shook her head and stood up to get there. “You’re not going anywhere,” Zayn said, grabbing her hips and sitting her back down. “I want you here.”

“And I want to be there,” she said, standing back up. “Maybe I can find another Enzo that has a higher tolerance for alcohol.”

“You’ve got five different lads here. Why go on looking somewhere else?” Niall said, looking up at her as he ate some onion rings.

“He has a Perrie. This one has an Eleanor. A lot of girls, this one has.” She pointed at the respective boys with the respective girl. “I can only pretty much get it on with you Niall, but then, you have a Demi and another Amy. I’m not pretty sure. Yeah, no.”

“She’s got us sorted, doesn’t she?” Niall said, laughing as he sat back. “For the record, you really can go after me, since don’t have a stunt.”

“Oh, I recall you did, and it did well, from what I see,” she said. Eliza was referring to the focus on attention on Niall, when his style started changing and some videos of him playing the guitar started surfacing.

“You know what I mean,” Niall said, knowing what she meant as well.

“And I need a guy that won’t get me on the papers the next day,” she said. That gave the bodyguards something to laugh about as she traipsed back down toward the dance floor. She needed to get things done.
