Chapter 1 - the shy girl goes to a party
Maya POV
I wake up to my beeping phone.
Who's bothering me this late I think to myself as I stare at the clock.
"Oh shit I got 26 missed calls from Taylor " I mutter just as I'm about to call her back I get a text .
Taylor: are you going to the party tonight ? [10:00]
Me: No [10:02]
Taylor:its too late to back out . I'm about to knock on your door[10:05]
Just as she promised ,I hear a sharp knock at my door . There she stood in her curvy 5'6 frame .
"You are going" she said in a pleading tone
"Fine"I said in no condition to argue
"Now let's get you ready " she says literally dragging me to my closet.
At the party
I stand there while loud music blast in my ear , so deafening I wouldn't be surprised if I was deaf at the end of the night.
Im dressed in a black crop top which is to revealing in my opinion. I had on some grey and purple Nike's to match my tight jeans.Taylor was sure as hell good at persuading people....

I felt hands at my waist which broke my train of thought .Next thing I know I'm on the dance floor with my head on someone's chest.
I looked up and my breath caught as stared into the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen .
"Like what you see " the guy said smirking

I stay silent as I try to pull away from his tight hold, but his grip tightens as I struggle .

"Can you let me go?" I say through clenched teeth

" I don't know can i?" He says laughter in his voice making me staring into his chocolate brown with flits of gold .

"What's your name ?" He asks while spinning me

" none of your bussiness" I say
He let's me go abruptly giving me a chance to look at him .he had Carmel skin and curly brown hair and he was wearing a white tee that didn't contain his abs in the least
,he was wearing black slacks to go with his black Jordan's .

"Why do you hate me ?" He asked looking me straight in the eye

"I dont hate you I just don't know you" I replied realizing this is my chance of escape I walk away hoping to never to see him again.
