I woke up early the next morning rushing to get ready for the fashion show, I had to be there early to help prep the models wearing my designs. I had totally forgotten about the events of the previous day, including the wish. When I realised I only had five minutes to get to the show I started panicking and silently wished I was there, already prepping my girls. I felt that farmiliar surge of energy and found myself standing in front of the models, my designed outfits already on them. I cursed to myself, knowing I had used up my wish. I went along with my day a little frustrated but as if nothing had happened.
Later on, that evening, I asked around for the witch's address, thinking maybe I could convince her to give me another wish. I didn't have to look for long, she was standing amidst the crowd of people coming home frome work, some on bikes but most walking. As I walked towards her I marveled at how the people seemed to just flow around her when I was constantly being nudged and pushed. When I reached her her expression had not changed: a solemn stare, directed at me. All of a sudden she shivered then motioned for me to follow her. The witch led me to the same park bench we had sat on yesterday.
"You used your wish",she said before I could explain.
"Ho-",she cut me off before I could even start asking how she knew.
"I am a witch", she explained, " And now I'm guessing you want another one".
I nodded my head, feeling much like I did when I was a kid and was being chastised by my mom.
"Very well then", the witch exclamed," but this wish will come at a larger price than the first".
"But the first didn't have a price", I said confused.
" It did",said the old lady," it just depends on what you wished for".
"I wished to be at the fashion show prepping the models",I said ashamed.
"Then it is very likely that you are out of makeup and fabric", the witch said simply.
"Oh", I said defeated.
"Anyway", said the witch,"here is your last wish".
