DOWN THE MEMORY LANE

7 2 1

My world of recollections,
Deep within me,
A stage in the moonlight,
To replay memories,
Both good and bad,
Both filled with mirth and mirthless.

My world of recollections,
Like a galaxy of stars,
So close together,
So many in number,
So bright in twilight.

My world of recollections,
Neither empty nor dry,
Both interesting and enjoyable,
Filled with snow,
Filled with paintings in the sky.

My world of recollections,
A walk in the park,
Tranquility in the seas,
Peace in the air.
In it I can fly,
I create,
I invent,
I touch the sky,
I get no sense of despair.

My world of recollections,
Like a magic castle,
It's crystal clear,
It's a firm foundation,
Rooted in my heart,
Sprouting in my mind,
As I walk slowly,
Down the memory lane.
