Alas! All the power and might
I stare on my tower, the moon so bright
Adorned a crown brown and light
But then I frown, so down at sight.
Oh! I see I dream
Oh! I'm free I perceive
Oh! So full of glee, sweet as cream
Oh! Is something missing to make me complete?
My thoughts, my pins, my sins
I sought, I fought to be prince
I caught my heart, a piece
All of it, now one, ever since.
My power, my tower not my limit
I soar I fly forward for the road does not part
I cherish the flower with no blemish on its summit
Deep within, I reach, I stretch for a start.
My motion, emotion, no distortion
Salutation, supplication, no trepidation
I say, I play, but not today
Let me pray, if I may, for a brighter day.
Deep within, I reach, I stretch for a start
Deep within, I dive, I strive to succeed
Deep within, my heart glows, grows like a seed
Deep within, when I sin, my worlds spin
Deep within, I grin, no longer thin.
