Chapter 4

Jak's P.O.V

Urgh Irving can be annoying sometimes. Right when I was talking to Elena he came and called her honey! Urgh, oh well I suppose I'll have to deal with it. Anyway Irving started flirting with her but she was having none of it, I don't blame her! Only then I realised the time, I have Music practise! Oh shoot I'm late "hey I gotta go, only just realised I have music practise gotta shoot bye" and with that I disappeared off... When I got to the rehearsal room, there was Lucien sitting there with his Bass Guitar, I thought he was gonna kill me! "Err Lucien, what you want?" I asked rather sheepishly. "I want to talk" he said, oh shoot is he angry cuz I'm trying hang out with his little sister? "Sure" I said then he showed me his bass guitar and said " can you teach me the way to play the bass to Sancta Terra?" I didn't have a clue what song that was. "Its this one here but I can't seem to get the part were there's a riff right, got any tips, Elena couldn't help me she was busy unpacking all her junk from the trip" few I'm alive " sure" and with that I had a go at his guitar and practised the riff part and he managed to learn it. Well I had 10 mins left of practise before break was over but just then Elena walked in "hi Lucien" she said then smiled politely at me. Damn now I was gonna collapse, KEEP YOUR COOL JAK! I thought to myself. "Do you play bass?" She asked "nope well not much, I play guitar, why?" With that Torn butted in, I never realised he was there-" Elena is looking for a guitarist for the band-" "shut it Torn" she snapped then blushed and hid her face, awww she was cute, wait shut up Jak if Lucien reads my thoughts I'm as good as a piece of meat for a bloody lycan. "Why does no one play guitar in the band?" I asked then she replied "yeah me, but I'm not the best at it and I get annoyed at having to do the guitar all the time, what can I say I like to bound round the stage otherwise people would get bored wouldn't they?" She had a point "oh" that was all I could think of-" show me what you can do" she didn't ask she just implied. "Oh ok hold on a sec" with that I walked over to the music room and brought out a black leatherish case for a guitar which had my rather new fender guitar in it, it was pure black with bright blue flames on it, it had cost a lot but was worth it. "Woah" she gasped rather open mouthed at it "I take it you like it?" I asked "damn right!" She blurted out rather amazed at the guitar still "haha ok what do you want me to play?" I didn't know what to play "the most difficult thing you can?" Well I didn't really know what was most difficult but I decided to play some classic Nickelback " how about Burn It To The Ground, it's by Nickelback" I asked unsure wether she liked them or not "YEAH!" She screeched, I guessed she liked them, so off I went starting to play it with Lucien joining in then I changed over to Woke Up This Morning by Nickelback and Lucien changed over more less the same time then finally I ended with a solo from a disturbed song, I forgot which one, and from the look on her face Elena loved it.

Elena's P.O.V

" Woah, that's amazing, is that final solo from Inside the Fire, it's by Disturbed?" I asked him, I'm sure it is.

"Yeah that's the song. I'd forgotten which song it is but it's got an epic guitar solo in it, it took some practice to get it to the dot as its sometimes hard trying to move your fingers from string to fret to string and back again at split second speed, especially when you've just got back from hunting lycans" at that he started to laugh slightly, urgh he's soo cute when he laughs and that smile, it's like looking at a smile from Ian Somerhalder crossed with Vin Diesel then crossed with a slight hunt of Channing Tatum, wait what urgh shut it Elena!

" show me what you can play" he smirked, urgh I was melting at his smiles...

"Err ok" with that I summoned my guitar, which was just a rather basic standard model electric guitar, it was pure black with a black fret board/neck, Jak just looked at me and said "how'd ya do that?" So I smiled and said "magic stupid, I can do 'normal' magic and then Black magic, so I can summon my guitar, err you'll have to bear with, it's only a starter guitar, had it for about 5 years now" so what was I gonna play, hmmm " hey, can you play a song called Indestructible, it's by Disturbed?" As soon as he finished his sentence i kicked the volume up and so did my brother and we burst out playing it, I think Jak was gob smacked by our little 'guitar duet'.
