She looked at me with pitty. Her eyes locked with mine.

'You saw him...didnt you?' she whispered.

'What?!' I asked, 'I thought only i could see him?' she shook her head and held out her hand for me to shake.

'Rain' she said 'and you are?'

'Emi' I replied, shaking her hand.

'Walk with me' she said. I nodded, and we walked along the now empty school halls.

'We're not like other people Emi. We're different.' she whispered. I nodded, listening to the one person who understood me. 'We're a group.' What? there were more of us? How come I had never seen them? Why had they never come to me before?

'A group?' I asked her, she stopped walking and took my hand,

'We're lightsighters' she whispered to me, her eyes shining.

'I though i was alone. I never knew anyone else saw things that werent there.' I whispered, she looked at me, she frowned.

'They are there Emi...just no one else can see them. They think we're crazy, they think we see things in our heads. But when really, it's them. It's them who cant see the others.'

'S-so they're the ones who are weird?' I asked. She shook her head,

'They're not weird. But neither are we Emi. We're powerful and strong. They're normal'

I wasnt crazy. I had broken down and lost everyone, I had lost my friends and alot of my family, and yet...it wasnt me being crazy. I wasnt mental. I was powerful.

But..but I-I...how many others are there?' i whispered, close to tears.

'16 now.' she grinned. 'Oh...and Emi?'

'Yes?' I replied a tear of joy falling down my cheek.

'You're never alone darling' she said, squeezing my hand.

I wasnt a freak.

I wasnt alone any more.

'Come on, I'll take you to meet the group' she smiled.
