Chapter 5: Getting Sakura Back

"Sakura chan! Can we take a break? Where are we going anyway?"Hikari pant with sweat as she sat down on a rock.

"We're almost there, we can't stop now" the pink hair girl said as she wipe the sweat of her forehead.

"Maybe we should stop now and camp for the night" Kai said concernly as he lay Ichigo down from his back. " yeah it's getting pretty dark and there are probably bandits surrounding this forest at this time of night and we don't know when they are going to ambush us" The red hair girl said as she started taking the tent out of her backpack.

The pinkette stop and looked up. *shes right it's getting dark and it's pretty dangerous if they continue* she thought. Beside one of her teammates is completely knock out. Ichigo has been knock out almost a day now and Kai has been carrying him on his back ever since. The pinkette felt bad. Even though she may look completely unemotional she still have that caring side to her.

"Fine we will set up camp for tonight" she said as she started to help hikari prepared the camp. Both her teammates were surprised and happy at the same time that their leaders had agree to stop and rest. Usually she would get annoyed and leave them if they can't keep up with her.

As her teammates go around the forest to find some food and water, Sakura sat down and start to read her scroll. It was so hard to see and she was constantly trying to adjust her jade eye through the darkness. She sigh as she decided to get up and rekindle the flame of the fire. As she was putting more woods and sticks into the fire, Ichigo was groaning as he try get himself up while he rub his head. He adjust his eye to the bright light trying to see correctly until he saw the pink hair nin staring at him.

He jumped abit surprised to see her staring at him like that especially when she's not wearing her mask. He tried to mutter a word only to find out that his mouth was dry. How long has he been out he though. "Are you ok" she said softly cutting him out of his thoughts. "Huh?" He said as he quickly looked back at her.

" how's your wound?" She said as she looked at him sternly. He looked at her blankly mainly because he didn't know if she was being compassionate or not. "Um y-" his voice cracked as he tried to speak. Oh right he forgot that he couldn't speak because his mouth was totally dry. Seeing why he couldn't speak Sakura offered her water to him. He took it and drink it gratefully. "Thank you Sakura chan" he said as he handed back the cup to her.

"Hn" she replied as she took the cup from him.

He started to get up and cupped his face only finding that the pain didn't subdued at all. It was hurting like hell. Before the brown hair man knew it he was back on the ground with the pink hair girl beside him healing his faced. He winced as she started to touched him. Green chakra started to form and instantly the pain was gone but the bruised was still visible to see.
He was stunned as he touched his cheeked and looked at the pink hair nin as she she started to get up. His cheeked flushed pink as he smiled realizing that his feeling for her just started to grow more and more. He just realized that they were completely alone and this was his chance to get more closer to her.

"I love you Sakura chan! "The brunetted said as he tried to run toward her for a hug. She quickly gave him a glare this time as a warning. He sweat drop as he backed away nervously.

" um Sakura chan by the way where is hikari and Kai " the boy said as he looked around
Trying to find his other two missing teammates.

" off to find some supplies" she said as she looked around. It was very odd. They have been away for 30 minutes now what can be taking them so long just to gather up small amount of supplies. Wait it couldn't be that they're being watch. The pink hair kunnoichi gritted her teeth as she looked at her teammates also seeing that he also notice it too.

" well they sure are taking their time" he said as he walked to the camp fire and pulled a kunai out under a log and throw it at a nearby bush.

" come out right now bastard" the brown hair man said as his eyes harden. The pink hair nin quickly swoop her mask from the ground and put it back on. She cursed at her self as she was being careless back their not noticing that an enemy was nearby.

" I said come out right now!" Ichigo said as he was about to throw another kunai when the person hiding behind the bush swiftly came out from the shadow.

Sakura gasp as she looked at the intruder. His eyes activated to a full sharingan and staring at Ichigo with intense hate. His fist tightly balled up to one side with his other hands on his katana gripping it very hard.

Both guys standing 3 meters away from each other glaring right at each other neither one backing down.

The pink hair girl stood in the middle between them and the only thing in her mind was why the hell is the Uchiha here.
