Ed, Edd, N Eddy: 2! (Discontinued).

Chapter #1: Solo Ed.

Meanwhile Ed, Edd, and Eddy have set themselves up comfortably in the back of their purple van. They've cleaned it out and revamped the paint a little so it looks nicer, the purple color is more solid while the flames have been repainted with higher quality paint. Double D replaced the bedspread on the water bed and Eddy's fixed up the seats and windows, Ed also replaced the rear view mirrors and tires along with the carpet in the back. The boys have brought their photo albums, old CD's and records, and Double D replaced the radio to make it a more comfortable space for the three of them. Although Eddy's the only one with a license they try not to drive the van anywhere except for school sometimes if they're late.

This place is their sanctuary. Even for Double D who practically lives alone thanks to the absence of his parents enjoys getting out of the house. Often times when things get stressful for the three of them they'll escape the world of the Cul-De-Sac and hide away in the Ed van located at the back end of the junkyard. Tonight they've come here to relax and prepare themselves for the upcoming school year. "I feel bad for skipping Naz's celebration. One of the most important ones, too." Double D mumbled solemnly. Ed and Eddy nodded, discouraged. Eddy stuck the key in the ignition turning the vehicle partially on so they could listen to music while Ed slumped by the edge of the van looking through their Freshman yearbook. 

"I remember how scared she was! She thought she was never going to get her gift. Her talent. Now she can grant people wishes, huh?" Eddy laughed gently.

"ONLY 3 WISHES EDDY!" Ed yelled from the back. "UHAHA!"

"Yeah, yeah. Only 3 wishes. She's a genie essentially then. Right Double D?" 

The other male turned his head slightly to face his friend. "Well, sort of. It really of depends on how her aptitude functions. A genie is a spiritual creature from Islamic ideology. The English word derives from the Latin word 'genius'. They were also used as a guardian spirit in the ancient Roman religion. They are really called Jinn and come from earlier Arabian mythology and theology. The Jinn were like a spiritual and physical creature, similar to humans they had free will and could follow either the philosophies of good or evil. They were made from God along with humans and angels, apparently. There were also multiple types of Jinn too. The strongest said to be called the Marid according to the Quran. The idea that 'Genies' grant wishes really became popular after Disney made the movie 'Aladdin'." 

Eddy scrunched up his face. "Oh? I guess I get it???" 

"I AM SO CONFUSED. SO NAZ IS NOT A GENIE DOUBLE D!? She can't grant wishes!?" Their friend whined his despair quite prevalent.

Double D giggled, "haha! No, she can definitely grant wishes, Ed! I'm simply saying that I do not think she is a 'Genie' necessarily."

Eddy laughed. "You know, it kind of makes me think of that legendary Pokemon." Double D raised a brow. The smaller male grumbled. "Really? You don't know Pokemon, Double D? It's only been a massive franchise for kids for years now." 

"Well I'm sorry I don't keep track of trivial things, Eddy!" 

"Jirachi!" Ed giggled rolling over onto his back," he's the cute little star that grants wishes, Double D! Pokemon is great! The games are so fun! UHAHA!" 

"That's wonderful Ed! If summer vacation wasn't over I would have been delighted to try it." 

"Ugh! School!" He hit his head off the steering wheel. He doesn't think he's quite ready for school yet. School isn't necessarily bad, especially now that they're friends with everyone from the Culd-De-Sac. But there are a lot of kids from Peach Creek city (which is located directly across from the Cul-De-Sac) who also go to the high school. The Cul-De-Sac is the beginning point of all Peach Creek so it's a historical landmark for the island, so a lot of kids who live there are pretty admired by the other students from the city. The city is separated into four equal parts: A, B, C, and D. Most of the students from block C go to Peach Creek High School up school road. Peach Creek Elementary and middle school were much simpler for them because it was really just the Cul-De-Sac kids who went to school there, now many kids from the C section of the city go there since all the Cul-De-Sac kids are in high school.
