{Matthew's Point of View.}
I don't understand how people can just snap their fingers, and in a blink of an eye, they have everything. Sure, my parents have always been wealthier than most families in my home town, but I've never had anything just handed out to me. I had to work for it. Earn it.
I grew up on a farm, so hard work never has been too challenging for me. I learned to love the physical activity that came along with everything I did.
So with that being said, I have a strong love for sports. I've been playing baseball since the age of five. When I entered the fifth grade, I started football.
Every day after school, I go and lift for an hour. Then I come home, run on the treadmill for 30 minutes, and then my routine is finished._____________________
I used to be an all A student, but the pressure to be better and better finally got to me. I started skipping homework and studying. My mom has yelled at me many times for it, but I keep slipping into this bad habit.
I could skip the treadmill when I got home to do homework instead, but what if I became unfit to run? All of the solutions I kept had kept following with problems._____________________
{Alexander's Point of View.}
I envied everyone thar had the supportive family. There was a few words I could use to describe mine. Druggies. Liars. Christians. Homophobes. Everything I did was like walking on a thin string.
I've known I was different for awhile. When I learned about sexual intercourse, the thought of the vagina almost scared me. When I told my mother, she had just laughed it off.
I had an uncle who was gay. I haven't seen him in many years. My family cut ties with him after coming out about getting married to a man. So what would happen to me?
I was only seventeen. Had a small part time job as a waiter. My life was pretty boring. I lived with my grandparents and my little brother in a small, three bedroom house. My parents came in and out of my life.
Keeping a secret to myself really killed me inside. I longed to be able to tell someone my deepest, darkest secrets. But I had no one. I was almost alone in this big world.___________________
