My alarm clock woke me up at 6 am. I got up already grumpy i hate today, October 29. Today is my birthday. I have no particular reason not to like it only that i always have bad luck today. Last year i tripped playing a game of soccer with my friends and face planted in a pile of poo. The year before that i was climbing a tree I fell off and broke my arm in 3 places. When i got to school I was pleasantly surprised that nothing bad had happened. I entered the school and heard my best friend before she saw him.
"Oh my god! Everyone look it's the birthday girl!!!!"
Liam shouted everyone turned and looked at me. I could feel her face growing red.
"What the hell man! You know i don't like people knowing its my birthday."
Liam embarrassed me in a hug.
"Norah come on this is a great day! Happy 17th birthday."
He said. As I entered class I remembered that my essay on World War Two was due and that it was also sitting on my desk at home.
"Great" I thought "just my luck."
The rest of the day went by without much happening besides when Jessica "accidentally" dropped about 5 sticks of chewed gum in my brown hair it took 45 minutes to get all of it out. I just couldn't wait to go to the new haunted house in town. It was called the Rocky Mountain blood bath. You had to sign a paper saying you won't sue them if you have a heart attack or something. I can't wait! I finished my homework faster than I had ever before and got some warmer clothes on. My little brother max begged me to let him go but seeing as he was only 7 and not old enough to enter I told him to stay here with mom and dad and make sure you let Sam (our dog) out. Just as Liam came to pick me up I told max I loved him and went to Liam's car. We had to drive all the way to Denver from Colorado Springs for this haunted house it better be scary!
(It's a bit short sorry)
