Paisley is a sweet girl. I really don't understand why she's left out. Right now she's quietly eating her ham and pepper jack cheese sandwich while reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, absorbed into the book's magical world. "I like those kind of sandwiches too," I say. "Me too," she says. "Sadly I'm not real, or else I would've been inhaling that sandwich as if it were drugs haha," I say jokingly. "Well, I'm happy I created you, Lilah. If I hadn't, I would've been sitting at this lunch table alone," Paisley said quietly in her soft British accent. "Well thanks for making me..?" I say, tilting my head.
Paisley finishes eating her sandwich and suggests we get up and walk around. As we walk together, (Paisley reading her book whilst doing so) Jared runs in front of us. Paisley stops in her tracks, looks up from her book, and watches Jared run off. "Well goddamn, Paisley, you're only 7 years old and you have this crush on a boy who's like 10," I say, mercilessly judging her. "So! He's hot don't judge me, Lilah," she sassed. "
"Well I'm just saying, Pais, that he's a little too meh for you in a way. Like, he's the fasted boy in the clas--"
"I'm the fastest girl in the class! See! Pared is real, Lilah!" Paisley interrupts.
"But everyone in the class makes fun of the way you ru--"
"But it gets me places faster, doesn't it," she says, jerking her head to the side to look at me, her ginger hair flying around her face as she does so.
"Well damn, okay then. Pared is real." I end up agreeing with her. Then, I fade away and leave Paisley to leave her back alone in her book.
