Fall again

Chapter 6

When I woke up I saw annie beside me. Crying and saying 'where did I go wrong? What did I do?' Again and again. I think she's remembering THAT time. Thinking about it wants to make me cry with her and tell her everything. But I cant. Not yet..me and my dad won againts kim and her dad's company. We are next to the zhong conpany. Which my dad asked uncle jason (annie's dad) to team up. And of course uncle jason said yes. They really are best friends. So the TAN corporation had became very powerful because of the zhong corporation. My parents and annie's parents always go on trips together making more hotels and restaurants all over the world. The only thing why I broke up with annie was because I was forced to marry kim for business. But of course I complained to dad and he said "of course I wont let you marry her. Dont tell anyone about this. Okay son?" I replied with a nod and he started explaining that kim is a spoiled brat and gets everything she wants.. I knew from the start that kim likes me. And she wants to marry me through business. So me and dad made a plan to overpass they're business rank and become second best. We teamed up with the ZHONG corporation and they helped us rank up. Thesame level with them. Now she cant marry me because I know i have the right. And I an supposed to marry annie for our business. But as far as I'm concerned uncle Jason didn't mention anything about me marrying his daughter yet. Maybe its because were still young and we are eventually fresh graduates. Yup i graduated last month so did annie and tommy. Bet she didnt tell you that. We are advanced schooling. Now we are senior high. Since our school is k-12. And i graduated in the philippines with 99.9% in total. Who knew they're not like us who uses A B C D and F for grades. So I get to continue schooling in Harvard knowing that my grade is high. The principal knows about the business marriage and kim and stuff. But he doesn't know about me liking annie and the reason why I don't like to marry her. Which is good so i cant destroy any of our companies name.
I felt annie shift. I looked at her and caught her staring at me with puffy eyes.
"Your awake" she said and moved closer to me.
"Yup I am, obviously" i said trying to lighten her mood.
"Yah..right. Anyways are you hungry?" She asked while getting up to get the droplets to help get rid of her puffy eyes.
"Yah. I'm sort of hungry" i said and stood up to stretch. Aftr I was done stretching I caught annie looking at me.
"What?" I asked
"You didnt change a bit." She said while looking at her vanity mirror.
"I did" for you. I said quietly in my mind
"Oh really? "She asked with a questioning face
"Yah. I have 8 pack abs." I said bluntly while smirking at her. He just looked ar me in disbelief and laughed out loud. Is she insulting me?
"Sorry I'm not insulting you. I just remembered before that you said you had 6 packed abs. And you let me see it.. Have you been working out when you were in the Philippines?" She asked silently chuckling.
"Yup i did.." 'For you' i mumbled
"What? i didn't really catch the last one" she said
"Nothing. Don't mind it. Come on lets eat. He said. While touching my head.
"You still have fever." I said
"Its okay i can walk" she said while opening the door. Before she could go out i lifted her up bridal style and layed her on her bed. She sat right back
"I wanna go out." She said
"You need to rest don't me hardheaded" i said
"But i need to sweat so my fever will be gone.. Seriously, you act like as if you haven't went to the Philippines." I don't remember being sick in the Philippines. I just gave her a questioning look. She sighed and explained why filipinos are healthy why they are mostly thin and fit and etc.
"--and that's why they have less tendency to get sick." That as the only thing I heard.
"Okay okay fine. I'll think of something we can do." I said giving up. I don't want to hear her complaining.
Her face lit up as she opened the door. Before she did I grabbed her hand and she stiffened and tried to take her hand back but I tightened my grip on her and quickly walked down to the kitchen. Tyler just gave us a shocking look but quickly recovered and gave us a teasing look. "Good morning Mr. And  Mrs. Tan"
"Why are you late?" I asked teasingly
Annie chuckled and I looked at her
"Huh?" Tommy questioned annie counted down from 3-1 using her fingers. I got what she meant
"Because we do like this!" We both said and annie jumped at me and we both fell and she closed her eyes. I closed mine too.
"For the record. I am the earliest to wake up Mr. And Mrs. Tan. If I may ask. What would you want to eat for breakfast newly weds?" Tyler asked. And I laughed my head off while annie frowned.
"Practicing your lines again tyler?" I asked, still laughing. Annie gave me a questioning look.
"Men stuff," i shrugged at her and looked at tyler with a grin. This time he laughed his head off and started cooking a new food that is popular in the Philippines. Ham with eggs and rice. I bought products from the Philippines that I tasted while I was there. I got the "tamis anghang banana ketchup from the cupboard. And placed it on the table. Annie took the ketchup and read it out loud.
"What's tamis anghang?" She asked
"Sweet n spicy" i said
"Oh cool," she replied and opened the ketchup for smelling
"I think this is yummy" she said and smiled at me
"It is" i said. After a short while our food arrived. Annie smelled the food with such gusto. She poured some of the ketchup on her plate, dipped the ham in the ketchup and ate with rice.
"Filipino food is yummy" she said and ate really fast
"Careful you might choke" i said and chuckled. I started to eat . A few minutes later the doorbell rang. Annie stood up to get it. I followed her. Just in case. When she opened the door she just stared at the person in front of her. I looked from behind her who the person was

Yup its them.

Annie's parents and my parents are in the front door. We  were both frozen. Unable to move and blink. Maybe even unable to breathe. We just stared at them with complete shock
"Are we having a staring contest?" My dad asked
"Maybe.?" I said, still shocked.
"Game on!" Annie's dad said
We were all serious until annie snapped back to reality
"Mom Dad!!" She said and launched to them." I just went to my parents and hugged them.
"How are you sweetie?" My mom asked me.
"Im fine mom," i replied
"How is your getting -annie-to-fall-for-me-again plan doing..any progress?" My dad asked. I just sighed and shook my head.
"Its complicated." I said
"Well i know you can do this. If you really love a person and if you really are meant to be things will go the way they are supposed to be." My mom said and hugged me tight
"Im so sorry for not being here for you. Its just me and your dad is always being holded up with work. Especially after the kim-beating progress" mom paused and looked at dad. Dad nodded
"Son, theres something we should talk about." Dad said seriously. I just nodded.
"Kim and her dad is catching up with us. They already beated the other companies. They are in 4th place in the ranking. In order to stay first we really need you and annie to be married soon. Since your our only son. It makes you heir of Tan company. And since your a boy and we're merging with the Zhong company. And she's the only daughter. She's the heiress," dad said and paused when we heard annie scream
"What?! How why when?!" She said
"Why not lets all go in and sit down" i said
"FINALLY" they said in unison
I just laughed we all went to the living room. "Did you eat already?" I asked and they all nodded. I went to the dining room and got our unfinished food and went back to the living room. I handed annie her food. She grabbed it and ate silently. I ate my food while listening to what our parents was discussing. From the looks of it. It looks really private because they all have very serious expressions on they're faces. After we ate we both went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water. i washed the dishes while she dries them. After that we went back to the living room.
"We need to talk"  annie's father said.
Me? I pointed to myself and he nodded. Okay..we went to my room and uncle jason started to talk
"I know you had a rough time jed. When are you planning to tell anne?" He asked
"I don't know.. Im having a difficulty confronting her." I said while I sat on the edge of my bed. Uncle jason sat on my sofa
"Need help? I can explain it to her later. So that all you'll have to do is ask her to marry you after college and our problems are done." He said
"I thank your offer uncle. But i think it would take more than that to convince her." I said "i'll just explain what happened and its up to you to answer her questions. Tell her the truth okay?" After he said that he didn't wait for my reply and walked straight to my door and went put of my room. I just laid down on my bed thinking of what might happen. Will she believe uncle? Or will she leave me. A million thoughts in my head, 'listen to your heart'. My inner conscience said. Okay. After an hour i heard my door open. I sat up and saw annie with red puffy eyes. "Annie? What happened?" I asked.. Did uncle tell her? Already?
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked. Yup uncle told her. I ducked my head and tears started to flood my eyes.
"Jed look at me" i looked at her. She moved closer to me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked
"It wasn't your problem to deal with" i said and looked down, i cant control the tears anymore.
"Do you not trust me?" She asked
"Noo, of course I trust you. Its just. That  wasn't something you should worry about." I said
"Worry about? Do you know how hard it was for me to move on?! Do you know how many times I had sleepless night thinking of you?! I was always asking myself 'why did he do that' 'am I not sweet enough?' 'What did I do wrong?' ! I will ask you. Did you ever think of me when you left me?!" She said. I couldn't contain my anger and sadness anymore
"Do you think I'm like that?! Do you think I would do all those things with no reasons? What do you think am I, A player? All these years I had sleepless nights. And in our business meetings I always have a hard time paying attention, why? Because every time i am in business meetings i think of you! There wasn't a single day i stopped thinking of you! And your saying i don't think of you?! God how can you be so self centered? You always get carried away by your emotions not thinking about the person your talking to or the truth! Im so goddamn tired anne. So tired." I said and laid on my bed and cried silently. Anne was just standing there beside my bed also crying.
"Now you know the truth. Would you please go out of my room and we'll talk later?" I said and sat up on my bed.
"No im not" anne said and sat beside me. "All i wanted was for you to always think. That no matter how much you want to keep things a secret. i will always find out. Because couple's shouldn't keep secrets from each other. You know you should have told me about this and how much you want to do it on your own. I wouldn't mind and I know that dad will always help your dad jed" she said and bursted into tears. i hate it if she's sad. She stood up and walked towards the door. Before she could reach the handle, I ran towards her and kissed her square on the lips. She was shocked at first. But she eventually kissed me back. I placed my hands on the small of her back and rubbed it up and down. She places her hands on my neck. A little while later she was messing my hair while our kiss was getting hotter. i carried her and put her on my bed. i was on top of her. I moved to her ear and nibbled it. She moaned. God i love her moans. i moved to her neck and made loads of love bites. She reversed our position. i was caught off guard. She was now on top of me. She kissed me on the lips and moved up my nose then my eyes then my cheek and back to my lips. Before things get any more hotter I stopped her. She looked at me with a frown.
"Save the rest after our wedding hon," i said and winked at her. She blushed. My honey is so cute. I kissed her one last time
"I love you jed" she said
"I love you too annie" i said and kissed her one more time before we both drifted to sleep.
