Chapter One

"Caleb! Jace! Caleb! Jace!" The crowd screams our namse. Jace and I must run 800 meters under 3 minutes to make it to state. I look at him, his brown eyes meeting my blue eyes. We both nod at each other. We are at the starting line. My heart is beating faster and faster. Taking a deep breath in and out. Jace pats me on the back and gets into his line. "Ready" our knee is down the other is up our hands behind the white line. "Set" we rise our butts in the air ready to take off. "Go!" We take off. Jace in second, I'm in third. Keep your head down, don't look up, chin to chest, maintain posture.

  Crossing the finish line, we look up to see the time.
Jace Cross: 2:30
Caleb Green: 2:33
The crowd screams, I run up to Jace hugging him, he hugs me back. He grabs my hand and holds it up in the air. We're both smiling, he kisses my cheek, "We did it babe, here we come to state" I smile at him, kissing him on the lips, he grabs me by the waist.

  In the locker room we are greeted with cheers, hugs and pats. "Look who it is our stars and our favorite gay couple" Jake said clapping his hands cheering for us. "We can't take all the credit Jacob, remember you placed 1st in the high jump and long jump. We couldn't do it without you" he smiles back at me. "Thanks Caleb, I am the best in field"

  "He never said that Jake, if Anthony never moved he would've been the best."

  "Shut it Jace, so who's ready to party?"

  "Sorry man you see Caleb and I have plans"

  "Oh, I see you Jace, make sure you wear a condom!" My face was red from embarrassment.

  "That's not what I meant!"

  Walking into the Cross house hold his parents cheered for us. His mother kissing me on the cheek while his father gives him a hug. He grabs my duffle bag and brings it to his room. "Be safe! Use a condom!" They both said. "We won't be having any sex tonight ma" We walk up to his room, he closes the door, drops our bags and carries me to his bed. He lays down on me kissing my neck. "I thought you said no sex tonight? We're tired, and we're athletes" he kisses me softly on my lips. "I remember what I said." He murmured.

  I pressed the controller button extremely hard, Jace next to me trying to calm me down so I don't break the controller. "Babe calm down" I pressed the button even harder just because he said that. "No they are totally kicking my ass"
