I woke up to the sound of knocking. I stood up and stumbled over to the door, not yet awake. I opened it up to see Gabriel. Oh god. He ignored me and walked inside, bumping into me on the way. I shut the door and turned to face him. He made a weird face at me and started to Say: "You will go back in time. You will find me. You will obey every word I say." he told me, trying to get in my mind. Which, surprisingly, wasn't working. I decided to play along and nodded my head. He smirked and stepped closer to me. "Go." he said. I nodded again and closed my eyes, concentrating on going farther back in time then I was told. I opened my eyes and nearly died from shock.

I looked around me to see dirt and grime everywhere. Homeless people on the streets, begging for food or money. I started walkıng to where this child was selling newspapers, begging for money. I reached into my pocket, pulling out a quarter, not sure if it would be worth anything. The boys' eyes lit up. "Thank you sir!" he exclaimed, handing me a paper. I looked at it and, literally, fainted.

After Patrick left from a day of relaxation, (following fun!!) I looked at the clock, seeing it was 8:00 p.m. I know its not late but...I'm really fucking tired. I went upstairs and into my room, throwing myself on my bed. I started thinking. Why hasn't my dad been home lately? Weird. I soon drifted into a peaceful sleep.

I awoke to the sound of rain on my window.

'Oh great.' I thought.

'I have to walk in the rain.'

I sighed and got out of bed, looking at the clock. It was 7:50 which means I have 35 minutes to be at school. I walked over to my wardrobe, picking up a gray hoodie and some black skinny jeans. I threw on my converse and grabbed my bag and phone, heading out my room, down the stairs, and out the door. Whilst I was trekking to school, I stopped in my tracks, realising something. Morgan is dead.

I dropped all of my bags and sat down on the curb, burying my face in my hands. "Why?" I whispered, taking my hands away to reveal my red eyes and blotchy cheeks. "DAMMIT!" I yelled, jumping up and kicking my bag. I decided I was just going to skip school today and stay in bed. I was feeling very weary anyway. I grabbed my bags and ran into the street. A car slammed into me and stopped in its tracks. I groaned and got up, waving at the man to prove I was alright and running back home.

I slammed my door shut and ran upstairs to my room, collapsing in my bed when I got there. I immediatley fell asleep, completely forgetting about the tragedy I had learned yesterday.

"Mister! Mister!" I heard a pleading small voice yell.

Oh no. I thought. Not again.

"Why are you dressed like that?" the small boy asked in a strong American accent. Since I've been here I've gathered that I'm in America during the Great Depression. Why, you ask?

I DON'T FUCKING KNOW DONT ASK ME I DON'T WANT TO STARVE TO DEATH WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM I SERIOUSLY DONT KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH YOU.

I'm sorry I'm just very stressed right now.

"I came from a very far away place." I told him, sighing. "What's your name?" he asked me, sitting down. "My name is Liam. Liam Payne." I told him, sitting down on the ground next to him. "My name is Clarence Acton." he told me, smiling. "Nice to meet you Clarence." I said, smiling back at him. "How old are you?" I asked. "9, gonna turn 10 in October. How old are you?" he asked me. "I'm 20 years old, turning 21 in August next year." I replied to his question. "Wow! You're a lot older than me!"  he giggled. "Heh...not really." I chuckled nervously.

"Clarence!" I heard someone yell. The boy turned around and sighed. "I have to go." he said turning back towards me. "Okay...well it was nice meeting you!" I yelled to him as he ran away. "You too!" he called back to me before disappearing into his home.

Before I knew what was happening, I was back in my apartment with a very frustrated looking Gabriel.

"Are you KIDDING ME?!" He yelled, flicking his wrist and sending me into a wall. "What!" I snapped, sending a glare over to him. "Well I guess you were a little late for our meeting, weren't you?" he said quietly, taking another step towards me. I saw him moving his hands in a strange fashion, focusing on my arms and hands. "You know, you shouldn't let your students see your scars. That would be a bad influence." he pouted, looking into my eyes. I felt my bandages being unwrapped and thrown onto the floor. I look down at my wrists and sighed. My arms were still slightly bloody bit other than that there were just scabs. "Liam." Gabriel whispered into my ear, very quietly. So quietly, in fact, it almost sounded sexual. "You need to stop." he whispered once more.

"Why should I?" I asked him, feeling very violated as he stroked the front of my jeans. He pulled his hand away and said-with a louder voice- "For me." before exiting my apartment and shutting the door behind him.

Weird.
