It shatters like glass. Onto the floor in a million pieces. The blood surrounds it like a waterfall falling from my heart. One second, two seconds. Falling deep. The losing fight. Shattering brokenness. She stands there with her crystal blue eyes flowing deep like the sea below. She screams for help. But no one hears her. She hurts with pain. Drowning in her own sea her blue eyes beg. Begging for the one she loves to carry her free. To tell her he did care. But she knew it was a lie. Everything was a lie. Her past long foretold of the brokenness. One where she cannot have a future. Giving herself away piece by piece for the wholeness of the ones around her, slowly losing herself into nothing. She cares and weeps for them. Crashing against the shore she struggles against their tides. Trying to break through. Crashes and slashes she pushes. Doing everything in her will to calm their storms. The cuts and the bruises she carries deep within her soul only to heal their psychical lives. The calm in their storms is the loss of their embrace.
