Unexpected Turn

Ken rushed to my home and expeditiously opened my room door and turned on the lights. The moment the room lights turned on, she... vanished.

"What? Where is that girl?" he screamed at me. "She was... She was standing just there. She vanished when you came" I pointed at the corner of my room. "Oh my god, Alex! I always know that it is because of your overwork. Just take some rest while you're working." he shouted at me.

"If I do that, it will take more time to update the game and everyone would eventually call me lazy" I muttered. "Overworking is not an excuse for being lazy, please reduce your work, man! Okay, I'm going back. sleep tight and don't freaking call me again with a news like this, you actually gave me a mild heart attack!" he shouted and returned to his home.

I was just too scared to turn off the lights so I slept with the lights on.

I woke up, a brand new day. I took a nice shower but still, the nightmares of yesterday is still in my mind. I went to have breakfast and I noticed I'm all out of milk. I took my purse and walked towards a grocery shop nearby.

The grocery shop is opposite to the place I was standing. I just noticed the traffic light is broken! How am I supposed to cross this big road without traffic lights? I looked at the right to left and proceeded to cross the road.

A bus came out of nowhere and... It came straight to me. I turned and looked at it, it was just inches away from my face. My heart raced and I put my hands on my hand and shouted.

I heard a loud crash of the bus, did it just hit me? I didn't feel any pain in my body. I opened my eyes and looked at the bus. It didn't hit me, it hit a shop which was in the right side of me.

How...? How did it turn right all the sudden? It was coming right to my face! What? How? A group of people surrounded me asking if I was okay. Soon, an ambulance came and took the injured people in the shop to hospital.

I made up my mind and went to another grocery shop to buy milk. My mind can't figure out how to bus turned right suddenly.
