Tom was finding it hard. to adapt to life with his granparents. He was glad that he was still near his friends but he wished he could play sports. Tom wanted to just give up but he was a fighter,he never gave in and he knew he would never give in. The next morning they were woken up by a loud noise. They soon realised that it was a man with a bloodthirsty mind. He roared"ATTACK". Tom quickly realised it was Bin Laden's cousin. He knew they were targeting get him........or were they. Tom saw a man with a machine gun, a man with an R.P.G. and a man holding a batton. Tom's granparents told Tom to run as fast and as far away as possible. Tom listened to his granparents and ran. He looked back and saw a huge explosion. Tom immediately burst into tears and wept for about 10 minutes he wanted to curl up in a ball and die. He decided he had nothing to live for. He decided he was going to jump into the lake. He slowly walked towards the edge. He was distraugh. He was about to jump in when someone put their hand on his shoulder.
