There once was man named Norman. He was lonely and nobody loved him so he created a machine to clone himself. The clone came out it looked exactly like him. He put a red chain around his neck and called him Tyrone. Tyrone was cleverer than Norman but he was accepted well. Norman cloned himself another time and out came the clone they clone they called Smith. Smith was a great carpenter. He could work with wood, stone or metal. Around his neck was the orange chain Norman put. He gave them both clothing which included a pair of black pants, orange shirts and an orange construction cap. They were known as the Clones. The three were happy together and stayed in a small shack in the middle of the woods. They also met a girl who worked at the town's food truck with her friend and his grandfather. She would often escape in the middle of the night and run off to the woods. One night when she came to the Clones' shack she saw that Norman had cloned himself again but something went wrong. The machine stopped working properly and the clone that came out was a reject. He looked different from the rest. His skin was a shade darker, he was missing a hand, one of his teeth was slanted, he had black hair while the others had brown, his face showed no emotion and he didn't say a word. His eyes were a dead green. Smith, with his torn sleeves, had the disintegration gun ready in hand but then the girl requested them for him to stay. They agreed. They called him Falcon. It may sound like an awesome name but for Norman the name means failed. They gave him olive green pants and vest, and a brown long-sleeved shirt. Falcon got dressed but he still expressed no expression nor said a word. Norman, Smith and Tyrone never understood why she wanted to spare him but Falcon was grateful even though he never expressed it. The girl with the brown hair and the heart of gold, he was always thankful for her despite him never remembering her name. He could remember clearly, it was just her name he could not remember. He knew the girl as A.

One day A and Falcon were at the junkyard. A spent most of her time there because so many things still useful were there, after all it was the junkyard, not the dump. They were both there because A was making the fake hand for Falcon. She gladly attached the metal hand on Falcon and sprayed it with paint but then the saw the town Mayor walk past the site and somebody knocked him out with a brick. Just then the Clones arrived and so did the cops. A and Falcon got down. The Clones were arrested for attempting to murder the mayor but they were framed. A was nervous but Falcon still showed no emotion. Once it was clear they both stood up and dusted themselves off. A bit her nails in nervousness but Falcon stayed still. He lent down and picked up a black fedora. He dusted it off and placed it on his black hair. She rushed off and left Falcon in the yard. A did everything she could to prove the Clones' innocence. Falcon tried but no one paid attention to the man. The day of trial came and A tried to defend them but they lost. The Clones were sentenced to lifelong prison with no parole. A was extremely sad.

Soon war broke out between two great countries. The small town was caught in the middle and could do nothing to defend itself. When the war was over the town was a barren wasteland. It was filled with dust, leftover weapons and rusty metal. Falcon shook himself out of the dust and dusted off his hat. He walked around and explored to see if there was anything left of the town. Slowly he collected the bodies of the people he knew. The list went on. His heart broke at the sight of A's body. For the first time in his entire life he showed the faintest sign of expression. Out of one of his eyes, a single tear came out. He found a roof covered with sand and dust and he climbed it. He sat on top and stayed still. A bell rang and the door from the building whose roof he was sitting on opened. A man came out from the building. He wore a blue bandana over his head and blood dripped from it. Falcon stood up. The man walked to the edge of the town. He was about to leave but then he heard something. He turned around and Falcon was there. "Stay," he said in a deep voice. The man's jaw dropped. Falcon's green eyes staring into him.  "Y-you, y-y-you c-can speak?" the man stuttered. "Indeed. Stay and rebuild the town." Falcon said. "Why me?" he asked. "Need, young man, need." Falcon replied. "Do you understand what you need to do?" Falcon asked. The man nodded. Falcon turned on his heel and walked away. "Wait, where are you going?" the young man asked. Falcon turned his head and said nothing. He continued to walk. The young man turned to the gate that enclosed the town but when he turned back to Falcon, he was no longer there.
