I woke up to find myself lying on the floor, surrounded by people. My head was throbbing slightly and my arm screamed with pain. I sat up and looked around. "What happened?"
"That's what we were gonna ask you Khloe. One moment you're supposedly sleeping and the next you started moaning and rolled right off your bed," Clara said. "We thought you were dead after hearing such a loud thud."
I shrugged. "Apart from a sore head and arm, I'm perfectly fine."
"Move back everyone. Give her some air. She'd appreciate it if she doesn't have to smell your breaths," Connor said loudly as he stepped into the room.
"What are you doing in the girl's dorms, you perv!" shouted Raven throwing a pillow at him. "Get your arse out of this room. Now. Before I find a brick."
He put his hands up. "As much as I'd like to annihilated by you girls, since none of you are at breakfast, they sent me to check on what was wrong."
"Really? Why didn't they send one of the little girls? They may be about five years old but I'm sure they know how to say 'breakfast is ready' and 'girls are coming'," said Jennifer. Everyone else nodded and muttered in agreement.
"Anyways, you can't kill me because I am the messenger and I'm pretty sure there's a phrase that says: "Don't kill the messenger."
"Don't worry about us killing you, we're just gonna pound you into the ground and grind you into dust. How about that Connor?" I said, smiling innocently.
"Fine, fine leaving. Just letting you know that breakfast is over in five minutes," he said, laughing as he walked out.
I stood up and winked, pointing at him. "Come on. You heard him. Breakfast is almost over." Everyone eventually seemed to get the message and began walking to the dining area. Suddenly, they shouted charge and broke into a run.
Connor, who was halfway down the corridor, turned his head around and realised what was happening. He started to sprint, too late, and was run over by the stampede of angry girls, who decided to whack him one over the head too whilst they were at it.
I stood with Raven and Clara laughing at the door. Well, that was one way to start the morning. One round to the girls, boys nil.
"Let's hope school's as good as this today," laughed Clara.
