The Summer Of Change

**Chapter 5**

I woke up early then I was supposed to. So I turn off my alarm that way Leah can stay asleep. She is sleeping on my bed and I took the pull out bed that is in the couch in my room. I decide to go for a run. I put on a pair of short and a sports bra then slip on my socks and shoes. I write on a piece of paper what I am doing in case Leah wakes up. I grab my phone and turn on my music.

When I step outside I see Jude walking my way with his head down. He looks up after he knocks on Landon’s door. He has his headphones in his ears but he smiles at me. I smile and wave before I take off running.

{Landon’s POV}

I open my door and see Jude looking at someone. I peek around the corner and see Siena pulling up her hair into a messy ponytail. She smiles and waves before she takes off running.

“So are you running with me today? If not I may go catch up with Siena.” He says taking out an ear bud.

I shake my head, “No I am still putting something’s into boxes and bags.”

“You waited until this morning to start packing things up didn’t you?” Jude says.

I nod, “You better hurry if you want to catch up with Siena.”

He nods and takes off running towards her.

I sigh and look towards everything in my apartment. This will be a long day.

{Siena’s POV}

I was running while having my music blaring in my ears when I end up being picked up. I scream and turn and see Jude laughing once he puts me down.

Taking out an ear bud I yell, “You are an ass. You scared me.”

He looks at me, “Sorry but you were not answering me.”

I hold up my phone, “I could not hear anything.”

“I was trying to get your attention to see if you wanted to run together. I try getting Landon out but he always makes up an excuse.”

I turn off my music and take out my last ear bud, “Sure why not. I used to run all the time at school and I always tried to get my roommate out so I understand when it comes to making up excuses.”

He takes my phone and shoves it in his hoddie pocket.

“I can carry my phone you know.” I say trying to grab my phone back.

He takes off running so I cannot grab it.

“So do you like Landon?” Jude asks me while we are running.

I look over at him to see he keeps looking towards me so I shrug and say, “I know I think of him as a friend and Elijah loves him. I just have been trying to get everything under control with my dad’s law firm and keeping Elijah happy I never thought about him as anything else.”

He nods, “I think you should because I know he likes you. He cares about you and Elijah. It was cute watching him and Elijah’s playing games at the arcade the other day. Some girls came up and was hitting on him saying they could get out of there and head to her place and that ‘his little brother’ could come along and wait in the living room until they were finished.”

I stop, “He took my brother to a girl’s house so he could get laid?”

Jude stops next to me and shakes his head, “No he didn’t even go with the girl. He told the girl that your brother was not his brother but his girlfriend’s brother and that they were having a guy’s dad.”

I nod and he adds, “The girl got jealous and stomped back towards her friend. Elijah was laughing and said to him that you were not his girlfriend. That is when Landon asked Elijah…never mind I cannot tell you what he said.”

I look back up the way we just ran from before asking, “What time is it?”

He pulled out my phone to look at the time, “It is 7 in the morning.”

I nod and grab my phone. Once I have it I take off running back towards the apartment. Once I see the door I start running faster.

“Siena!” I hear Jude laugh-yell behind me.

I look back at him and laugh until I see how close he is. I decide to run towards the picnic table and run around it. Next thing I know I am grabbed and thrown over Jude’s shoulder.

“Jude put me down!” I yell.

I cannot see anything but his butt.  I hear what sounds like knocking.

When the door opens I hear Jude say, “She is all yours.”

Next thing I know I am being handed to a confused Landon.

{Landon’s POV}

I open the door to see Jude with a girl over his shoulder.

“She is all yours.” He says before handing me the girl.

When I set the girl on her feet I notice that it is Siena. I look at Jude confused.

That gave Siena enough time to punch him and take off running.

“Nice try Jude.” She yells before going into her apartment.

“Damnit. How did she grab that without me noticing?” He says running his hand through his hair.

I look at him confused, “Grab what?”

“Well I held her phone hostage from her while running. She tricked me into see what time it was and stole her phone back. So I chased her and once I grab her I brought her to you and you let her grab my phone because you took forever to open your door.”

I laugh at him, “I am not the one who through her over my shoulder. Why did you bring her to me?”

“Because I know you like her. I figured it would give you time to ask her out.” He says.

We hear very loud laughing coming from Siena’s apartment, “Oh my god! That is funny.” That sounds like Leah.

My phone goes off and when I look at it I look I look at Jude, “She showed Leah the video of you and Elijah dancing in her bra and underwear. That is why Leah is laughing.”

“Oh Jude!” I hear and look and see Leah and Siena looking at him with a smirk.

“What?” He looks at them.

Siena walks up to me while Leah walks up to Jude.

“Here!” They say.

Once they set the things in our hands they take off running back into Siena’s apartment.

I open the little box and my mouth goes wide open. I look at Jude to see he is doing the same thing as me but he has two pairs.

My phone goes off again and I laugh once I read it.

‘We thought you all could use it for the next time you want to dance around in my underwear. Tell Jude the ones with his name on them are a gift from Leah. The other two are mine. See you in a little bit move somethings. *SienaSweetheart*’

I show the text to Jude and see his face light up. I grab the pair I think is for Elijah and take it back into my apartment. I set the box in one of my moving boxes and finish my packing.
