Twenty five beautiful young ladies filed out of their comfortable living quarters once again passing the fountain, which appeared a steel blue during the daytime. Now that it was no longer midnight, the castle, which just last night looked eerie, appeared beautiful with the ivy inching its way up the walls.
Valerie, a very simple yet stunning girl, was the first to speak up, “Excuse me, Queen Cecilia, when might we get to meet Prince Leonard?” The rest of their girls nodded their heads, they too were curious.
“As you can probably all see, some are more fortunate than others. My son will not be able to meet any of you until each and every one of you look like a princess,” Queen Cecilia answered. A smile began to form on her very delicate looking face, warming her light brown eyes.
Several of the snottier girls stuck their noses in the air and huffed angrily, most, however, found it fair. Therefore, the queen led them into the castle and into a room that had been setup to look somewhat similar to a salon.
After saying her farewells, Cecilia left the room already ready to finish reading the novel she had recently begun.

Amelia, Leonard’s younger sister, knocked on the large wooden door leading to his room. Quickly flipping through the short biographies for each of the twenty five girls, Amelia pressed an ear to the door just to make sure she wouldn’t be caught in the process.
After finally glancing over each photo and reading several lines from a few of the pages, Amelia knocked once again, “Leonard, open up.”
Still, there was no answer.
Amelia began to pound on the door, “Leo, I was told to give this to you.”
Amelia heard shuffling from behind the door and was about to start beating the door again, but Leonard opened. His blonde hair was disheveled and his eyes were red, he looked as if he hadn’t slept for days, and knowing Leonard Amelia didn’t doubt that he hadn’t.
“The files, I was told to give them to you,” Amelia said.
After handing over the folder, Amelia pivoted on her heel and began to walk away, but was soon stopped by Leonard, “Thanks, Amie,” He said. Leonard wrapped his arms around his shoulder and gave her a tight squeeze before releasing her.
“Love you, Leo. Make sure to get some sleep tonight, all the wannabe princesses will require a lot of attention,” Amelia joked.
Leo flipped open the folder and began to read over each and every little detail about all twenty five of the young ladies. Out of all twenty five, only seven stood out. Leonard grabbed several post it notes and marked the several pages that contain information about the few he thought possessed traits that a princess should have.
However, after realizing that none of the girls would ever compare to Penney, Leonard, without thinking, began to tear each of the pages out of the booklet and shred them all to pieces. After each page except for one had been torn Leonard fell to his knees, clutching the lone page, and began to cry.
A/N: hello everyone I have finally updated Ferocious Delicacy after a whole year. I’m sorry it has taken so long, but I have gone through so much just to get this five hundred page chapter written. Anyway, I know this is short, but I had been working for months to get the chapter to sound right and after finally getting super close my computer broke and I had to purchase a new one. All of my files had been lost and I had to rewrite the chapter. I was pretty frustrated and I couldn’t manage to get it right again so I just kind of wrote this.
