Two weeks later
I've now made some friends with everyone within my team but I feel like my team will always be in danger. I don't want things to be like last time. Today is a very sad day for me. I get out the nicest, cleanest, all black outfit and I put it on. I take my wallet and keys and place them in my pocket before stepping out of the door. On my way out I notice Mikasa heading out of her room so I hurry and hope she doesn't notice me.
Mikasa's P.O.V.
Today is the day. I wake up early, clean my whole room, shower, and get dressed- a long white dress. I decide to leave my room for the first time in a while and go buy flowers for the room. I notice Levi walking ahead, clearly trying to avoid me. I make sure to keep up and follow him into the elevator.
"You seem desperate to get away from me." I say quietly.
He looks over to me shocked. "When did you start talking again?"
"Just now." I say. "Can I come to wherever you're going?"
"Yeah, definitely." Levi says, still amazed at me talking.
We walk in silence for a while until we reach a large set of black gates. I can already see inside, there are hundreds of graves here. We walk inside and down the path to a group of six grave stones. I look over to Levi with a realization that this is what he meant by visiting old friends. I look around to all of the graves and whisper all of the names under my breath.
"Farlan Church... Isabel Magnolia... Petra Ral... Gunther Schultz... Oluo Bozado... Eld Jin." I whisper to myself. Who are these people? why are we here? what happened? I look at Levi with a concerned look in hopes he'll say somethings without me having to ask.
"They were my last team..." Levi starts "The mission went wrong and four of them died that day. The other two died on the mission before from a bomb. These guys were my best friends and because I wasn't strong enough they died."
"You can't save everyone." I say. "This is my first time speaking for 6 years so please remember I don't have a filter at this point- I am so sorry about not speaking up before. I have always been in love with you and after I saw you with Eren it broke my heart. I am so lucky to have been able to be around you. I should have spoken to you after what happen but I was scared of getting hurt and saying something wrong. Every second I'm around you my heart beats a million times faster, I just want to feel your lips on mine again and be like we were before our fight. Can you ever forgive me?"
"Of course. I've dreamt about you saying this to me. I just wish I knew sooner that you felt like this." Levi says leaning over and stealing a kiss.
We walk the rest of the way holding hands, butterflies in my stomach, and scarf raised just high enough to hide my hot pink cheeks.
"Care to join me for a movie?" Levi asks.
"I'd love that."
I follow him into his room and shut the door behind myself. I take a seat beside him on the couch and rest my head on his shoulder as he puts on a movie. I slowly start to nod off.
"Want to lay down." Levi asks
I nod.
He then lays across the couch and leaves spot for me so that we can cuddle. I soon fall asleep in his warm arms. I wake up to an alarm, Levi's alarm. We're still in the position we fell asleep in last night. I slowly get up and shut off the alarm before leaving Levi's room and heading to my own. I lock the door behind me and start filling up the bath, stripping down and climbing in. I reach over to the pile of razors and pills that I left here the day before.
Three Weeks Before The Mission
"Ready to go yet Mikasa?" Levi calls.
I walk out of the bathroom in a dark ready slim dress.
"Wow, you look amazing!" He says making my face turn red.
We walk leave the room and head out to a nice movie and a dinner. The whole night was amazing. Getting back to the room consisted of hardcore making out which was super. I love this man, I want to be with him forever. His lips press against my hard, his hands feeling my body. He starts lifting up my dress slowly but I grab his hand.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
I shook my head.
"Come on babe, its not like you're a stranger to sex, I mean you're not exactly a virgin, right?" Levi says with a smirk.
I am furious with this bastard. I push him off of me and leave his room, to only send him a text later."
Mikasa: We're finished
I fall asleep to the thought of Levi.
Present Time
Blood dripping down my skin, head spinning, slowly losing strength, breaths shortening. "I've never even had consensual sex, it's just not something I am able to give now." I laugh to myself as my vision around me shrinks and I am left an empty heart failed body.
