A/N - I'm sorry that I made you guys wait so much with this update.  This ch is very short, starting next week I will post longer chapters.

=Aaron=

Finally break, Aaron let out a loud sigh rushing to the back door hoping nobody will be in the back alley so he could have ten minutes alone. He needed a drink, bad. He couldn't stand anymore the pitiful looks on his way or the phrase "how do you feel" or even less pleasant "I'm so sorry for you". And if he's gonna hear one more time "poor Aaron" he was going to punch someone. In twenty-four hours he becomes the favorite subject. In the past, he liked the fact that the bar was so close to his home and that it was frequented by friends. But now, it was a total nightmare.

He still didn't talk with his brother or with the rest of his family. He should probably call them. Sitting down on the steps he debated if he should take Ronda offer and tell her to cover the rest of his shift tonight. But where he should go? To that motel again? Home? No. He couldn't handle seeing Carrie yet. Maybe to his parents house...

Taking out his phone he decided to finally call his brother. He delayed turning on his phone for 3 hours already. Twenty two missing calls and eight messages. Ignoring most of them, he appealed Aidan number. The phone didn't get the chance to ring once before his brother answered.

"Where the hell are you?"

"Hello you to" Aaron replied sarcastically.

"Don't give me that, I've tried to reach you all day, where the hell have you been?"

"Last time I checked I was still an adult, older than you by the way"

"That's not important now. ....Um... Are you ok?" Aaron let out another sigh, he knew this was coming. He could tell by his tone that is worried, but he didn't want to talk with anyone about Carrie yet. Everything was too confusing, her words hunting him, her betrayal to recent, too painful. All he believed in crumbled down, all the life he build so far, everything... All the plans for the future included one way or another Carrie. What should he do from now on? Two days ago he knew exactly what he wanted from life, but now, nothing. Empty. He felt empty. He thought he understood her. That they wanted the same things. Was she that unhappy with him that she...

"........."

"Aaron? Are you there?"

"Yeah, I'm here" Aaron answered realizing that his thoughts wandered and he didn't say anything.

"Where is here more exactly?"
" Work, i'm at the bar now. Actually i should go back now. Aidan, what ... Happened this morning? I talked with Carrie... How did you.... " Arron decided to stop ignoring the elephant in the room.

"About ...um Carrie, you know what? I'll be there in half an hour, will talk then" Aidan said.
"Wait Aidan, will talk --- tomorrow" He didn't finish, Aidan already ended the call, and he didn't find anything he didn't know already. He send a short text to his mother to let her know is not dead and he's ok and at work and maybe she will stop calling now. Not even after one minut he got a reply from his mother "We were so worried! You know, it takes you 10 seconds to send a damn text! Come home tomorrow, I made your favorite food. You know you are always welcome. And don't worry, maybe this is for the better, everything happens for a reason. Love you."  Yeah... A reason...

Checking the inbox he saw some messages that he doesn't remember sending. He did remember receiving messages at some point... But looking through them he was horrified. He actually whined and told his troubles to a total stranger! He never did that, he hated to whine or to let other pitying him. She seems like a nice girl, listening to his drunk rumbling. Maybe he should send a message with some apologies... or something. Did he ask for her name at last?

"Aaron, sweety? Are you here?" Ronda's voice making him jump.

"I'm coming." Getting up from the cold steps and rubbing his benumbed ass, Aaron put the fake smile in place and headed inside, forgetting all about his new text buddy.

"Can you handle the floor for me? I need to call home and check on the kids. After that, i need to clean the storage room. Oh, the tab for tale 3 and I think we should call them a cab" Ronda said, already walking away.

"Yeah, sure" Aaron answered. Cleaning and serving at tables will keep him busy enough till his stubborn brother arrive. Getting close to table 3 he noticed the looks filled with admiration aimed at him, coming from two loud girls currently sitting at table 3.  He wasn't in the mood for flirting, even if the bartender job did required  some dose of innocent flirting. Usually will have no problem doing so. He was an expert in letting the impression that maybe they will get more then just the drinks. But everything will stop there, he never did more then just flirt.  Using his "work" smile Aaron approached the table.
