"AMELIA! Wake up! You're going to be late for class!" A high pitched, bossy voice yelled at me, I groaned and turned over, trying to wack the voice with my pillow.

"Go away ... I want sleep." I moaned, until the covers were dragged off me. I let out a dramatic cry for my blanket, and sat up angrily. I stomped to the bathroom, looking at the clock on my way. I had 20 minutes before my first class, potions. I had an extremely quick shower, and put on my Gryffindor robes before meeting up with Hermione in the great hall. I had a reasonably small plate of breakfast, while Ron raided the table like a bank robber. I giggled at his eating habbits. Harry came in not long after, black bags under his eyes. He took an empty seat next to me and began grabbing things to eat.

"Whats wrong Harry?" I asked, giving him one of my soft smiles. He plastered on a smile and nodded

"Fine ... Just tired." He said, yawning to proove his point. I grinned and stood up. I scanned the hall and looked at Malfoy, who was glaring murderously at us. I flashed him a smile and waved cheerily, he rolled his eyes as I sat back down: Hermione, Ron and even my own brother looking at me weirdly.

"What? Has my hair changed color again?!" I panicked, and they laughed.

"Come on, we got potions first! Lets not get onto the professors bad side already." I smirked, as the four of us made our way to the dungeons. Weirdly enough, we all had identical time tables, but I guess that makes it more fun, being with your friends.

I sat down near the back, Harry on my left, Hermione on my right, and Ron behind us. It was sort of a win win, I copy Hermione, Harry and Ron copy me.

"Don't I just get the best Idea's?" I boasted, grinning madly. I silenced as the professor came in, I shuddered, he seemed bad news. His black cloak surrounded him like a fog, and his eyes were almost ... black. Empty. I shuddered again at the thought as the professor made his way to the front, flicking the windows and doors closed with his wand.

Without even addressing himself, he just began ordering us around, how unfair!

"There will be no wand waving, or silly incantations in this class. As such I don't expect many of you to appriciate the suttle science and the exact art that is potion making. However for those select few, who posses the predious position. I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and insnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, glory and even put a stopper in death. Then again ..." Gosh does this man ever stop talking?!  I groaned, as he began speaking again.

"Maybe for some of you have come to hogwarts in posession of abilities so formidable that you feel confident enough to not pay attention!" The professor said loudly, his voice was was plain, and often boring. I elbowed Harry, who was too busy taking notes

"Mr. Potter ... Our. New. Celebrity. Tell me what would I get if I added powdered root powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?"  The Professor sneered, and Harry looked nervously, Malfoy and his goons giggling behind him. Hermione however, had her hand up. Professor ignored her.
