I must have fallen asleep with Reece cause I woke up at 3 in the morning with her still in my arms. I carefully held her and put her in her bed, covering her up. I quietly left her room and went in mine to see Diesel up and pacing. As soon as I closed the door Diesel pinned me to the wall.
"It's three in the fucking morning. Where the hell were you and what is up with you and Reece?!"
His voice was threatening and had a growl behind it.
"I..I fell asleep with R..Reece in her room. A..At dinner she asked to know more about my family so..I told her. When I mentioned abuse..she started crying. I couldn't just leave her hanging so I comforted her."
"You fell asleep with her?!"
By now his eyes were glowing yellow again. I wanted to ask but I was scared.
"I was comforting her in my arms! She fell asleep and I guess I did too."
Diesel growled again and put his hand on my chest, pushing me harder against the wall. "You keep your filthy hands off Reece you understand me?!? She doesn't need another guy like you bringing her down again."
At that I felt a sharp pain in my eyes causing my head to throb and I slide down to the ground, putting my hands over my eyes and closing them. Diesel backed away and grinned.
"I knew it. I could just smell it on you."
Diesel pulled me up by my shirt and looked in my eyes.
"You poor pup"
He spit the last word at me.
"Did your mommy never tell you?"
He grinned more and dropped me.
"W..what do you mean?"
Diesel looked me in the eyes coldly.
"You're a wolf. Your mom and dad were both full blooded. So are you. So am I."
He growled, walked over to the bed and climbed up on his.
"A..a...wolf?"
I felt myself losing my breath. A wolf? How? I don't wanna believe it..he's lying.
"Yes a wolf. You shapeshift. Your mom...really..didn't tell you?"
I shook my head quickly.
"Oh man..you got a lot to learn. Go look in the mirror."
He motioned to the bathroom. I hesitantly ran in there and looked to see my normal green eyes glowing yellow like his.
