Chapter 32: The Talent Show

Author's POV
Today is the day of the talent show. All their hard work has paid off. Now, they're on their way to school, with their new outfits. Of course, they're a little nervous. But they have each other.

The talent show was going to occur in the afternoon, at lunch. That way, they could get their learning done first.

11:50 am
The performers were called into the cafeteria to do a little rehearsal, making sure the music works. Surely, it did. They practiced a little before the clock striked 12.

12:00 pm
Luckily, they weren't the first to perform. But it was still nerve racking knowing all eyes are on them. Lots of students filled up the chairs. Vanessa had her posters ready. The talent show finally begun. They watched the other students showcase their talents. They were still nervous, so they held each other's hands.

It was finally Got7's  time to perform. They introduced themselves.
Got7: Come and get it, we're Got7! I'm JB, I'm Mark, I'm Jackson, I'm Jr, I'm Youngjae, I'm Bambam, and I'm Yugyeom.
Eunji decided to perform after Red Velvet.

First off, was Got7. They sang Moonlight first:

Vanessa held up her poster saying GO GOT7~. And when it was Jackson's part, she gave the other poster to her friend and held up her Jackson poster. It didn't a while for Jackson to notice her posters.

They finished Moonlight and started to sing She's a Monster:

Red Velvet and Eunji were fangirling over their boyfriends, sending hearts, kisses, and claps.
The students have them a standing ovation even though they didn't understand a word at all. Vanessa gave heart to Jackson. He returned one too.

Next, Red Velvet introduced themselves.
Red Velvet: Happiness, we're Red Velvet! I'm Irene, I'm Wendy, I'm Seulgi, I'm Joy, and I'm Yeri.

They sang Oh Boy first:

Then, they performed Cool Hot Sweet Love:

They got a standing ovation as well. Got7 were fanboying over them too. It was now Eunji's turn to sing, which was what Youngjae was anticipating.
Eunji: Hello, I'm Eunji!

She sang Hopefully Sky:

The loudest cheer for Eunji was Youngjae, but she also got a standing ovation. Red Velvet and Got7 were very proud of her.

-skips the other performances/talents-

The talent show ended and the students seemed to enjoy the songs. Maybe they'll become obsessed with Kpop.

-school dismissal bell-

Mark and Wendy walked out together, linking arms.
Wendy: We really need matching shirts. Like, couple t-shirts!
