Do you ever need to tell someone something? It's something really important, but you keep putting it off, waiting for the right time?

Well, don't do that. Because you might miss the right time, and someone else will tell her instead.

After John and I had that little "confrontation", I headed back to my locker room. Mona wasn't there, so I just assumed she had to talk to her dad about something, so I waited for her.

Finally, she came running into the room.

Turns out, John had asked her out.

I tried to be happy for her. I really did.

Apparently, he wanted to take her out for a drink, but Mona refused.

Once I decided I wanted to live straight edge, Mona decided to become straight edge, too, as a way to support me. Except, she called herself "semi-straight edge." She smoked occasionally, but only when she was really stressed. She hasn't smoked in years, though, so she's as straight edge as you can be.

She turned him down on that offer, and he ended up taking her out to eat, instead.

When I got back to the hotel, I had every intention of waiting up for her, but I was actually tired, and with insomnia, that's a rarity. So I fell asleep.

I woke up this morning, and Mona was in her bed, sleeping. I'm always awake before her, and every morning, I just want to watch her sleep. I usually convince myself not to, because she'd think it was creepy, and I definitely can't this morning. We have a flight to catch.

After waking Mona up (which involved two pillows being thrown that I had to dodge), we packed our things and made it to the airport.

Now, on the plane, Mona had earbuds in and was sleeping, and I was reading a comic book. I didn't like the silence, though, so I pulled out my earbuds, and put my music on shuffle.

The first song that played was unfamiliar, so I had to look at what it was.

Fall for You by Secondhand Serenade.

It was really soft, so Mona must have put it on there. Sometimes, she'd take my phone and just buy whatever songs she was listening to at the time. Apparently, this was one of those songs.

"Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over again. Don't make me change my mind."

Listening to this song brought back memories, and soon I was thinking about the time I realized that I liked – no, loved – Mona.

"Why did I agree to go to this concert with you?" I asked, sighing.
