Well to begin this story I was sitting inside my house at the rectangular mahogany table. To the right of the table there was a large arch leading to a room with a T.V. a couch and a grand piano. The couch was to the right of the archway facing towards the T.V. to the north of the couch. The T.V. was in a crevice just wide and tall enough for the fifty-two inch screen. To the right of the T.V. is a grand piano. Above the grand piano is a window. Above the couch is a window also. In front of the mahogany table is a stairwell. By the stairwell is a hallway. At the end of the hallway is a mirror. If you turn left and then right there's the front door. Ding-Dong-Ding-Dong. The doorbell rang. I jumped yelled "I got It!" and ran to the front door. I opened and saw a man I've never seen before.

"Hello is Emma here?" He asked.

"No, but i can take a message for her." I lied.

"Hmmmm tell your mother Magic. She'll understand." The man said calmly. He turned on his heels and started to walk away.

"Wait! I called after him. i'll tell her now." I said, and rushed back down the hall to where my mom stood in the kitchen by the mahogany table. The walls of my house were a plain white. The kitchen had a lot of cupboards that were organized so my parents could find what they needed fast because they both needed to work so that they could keep our house. My mom sewed and cleaned houses for money. My dad worked as a lawyer from eight o clock in the morning to nine at night everyday. My mom wasn't cleaning any houses today so she was in the kitchen slicing apples for lunch.

"Mom a guy at the door told me to tell you "Magic." My moms face paled. She dropped the knife on the counter. Her eyes  widened and stayed that way. She stopped moving and stood there. Her left hand flew automatically up to her right shoulder. It was like she was in a trance or having a flashback. A bad one too.

"Mom are you ok?" I asked in a worrying tone. Instantly she snapped out of it. She shivered and fell to her knees. I rushed around the counter and helped her up. "Are you ok? I repeated

"Y-y-yes." She stuttered. She got up and stomped down the hall and to the door.

"You WILL not take her away! My mom screamed at the man. I walked down the hall just in time to hear, "Let the girl decide what SHE wants. Decide what you want Emma." The man said. I cringed when i heard my name. How did he even know it. I never told him. I walked out into the open.

"So magic really does exist." I said calmly.

"You already know that's impressive. He said rubbing his chin. How would you know that though?" He asked still rubbing his chin.

"I've had my suspicions for a while now."

"So will you come with me?" He asked.

"What's your name?"I asked.

"I'm Trystan." He answered.

"Whatever did this to my mother. I want to take  it on and kill it." I said moving my arm in a slicing motion as a sword would.

"So you'll go right?" He asked.

"Definitely." I said with a  smile.
