I've got the sun on my shoulders, no one can tear me down.
"You know how it is around these parts. You get up to find your confidence and then someone is tearing you down. It's like you aren't allowed to be happy."
She's a pretty miss in the sunshine.
"That's a stupid rule. Hey, Tucker over there doesn't even know what's coming at him. Wait until he finds out what this town is meant for."
And we'll all hold hands, and we won't let anyone judge us, or tell us that we're wrong.
"You think that someone would stop it. Maybe the mayor, maybe even the president. But the president doesn't care, have you noticed? He promises to keep us together, to build a better economy, but then he just sits and watches, sits and watches, and doesn't even do anything about it. That's why my mama doesn't like to vote; she says she always makes the wrong decision."
And we're happy. So happy.
"This town is a sad place. No wonder we don't get any visitors. My grandma won't even visit anymore because the pollution is terrible. I don't know, but everyone who had ever moved here has been moved out within a month. I'm still waiting for my turn."
So very happy.
