Tyler's P.O.V
"Tyler!" I heard my mom yell. I rose out of bed, feeling like a zombie, and checked my alarm clock. It was 6:42 a.m. Its 8:57 p.m by Jaqueline. I couldn't stop thinking about her. Like in Becky G's 'Shower:' "Think of you when I'm going to bed. When I wake up, there go you again. You are my homie, lover and friend." Except I want to be more than friends. I heard Brody talking to Mom when I got to the end of the stairs. "She's so pretty, Mommy! Her name is Jaqueline but I call her Jackie!" I heard Brody exclaim. "Good morning Mom," I said as I kissed Mom's cheek and ruffled Brody's hair. "Good morning, sweetheart, Brody was just telling me about your friend!" said Mom as she took a sip of her coffee. I decided to play dumb. I find it embarrassing for moms to know about your girl friends. "Who?" I asked. "Jackie! I heard she's a nice girl." said Mom as she added more coffee creamer in her coffee. "How did you meet her?" said Mom. "Kik," I said as I grabbed the Froot Loops out of the pantry. "She texted me and we hit off instantly. I FaceTimed her yesterday." I continued as I grabbed a bowl out of the cabinet. "Does she live in the United States?" Mom seemed to be interested. "No, she lives in Australia. I would introduce you to her now but its like 8:57 a.m where she's at." I felt so disappointed in myself. I just lied to my mom! But, its better than my mom most likely pulling out my baby pictures and showing them to all of Australia! "I'm happy for you, honey! Now, get ready for school." said Mom. I hurried up stairs to get dressed.
