A small child, barely older than five, ran with tears streaming down his cheeks. His parents were screaming and shrieking in agony as they bled out. He couldn't do anything exept listen to his parents orders, he had been told what to do in this situation, and the first thing to do was find a place to hide and calm down, so he did just that.
The hybrid had been running for minutes when he came across the clearing where he met his now dead friends, and
Sam had memorised the area and knew of a cave hidden by a large shrub, the cave was small and he had took the place as his own 'den'. Another thing that stopped the hybrid from finding help was the fact that he is mute, but it was also the only thing stopping him from bieng found, fortunately.
In his den there was a book, a notepad, a pencil, a school uniform (incase he had to go to the human village) and a hat with two holes punctured into the top to wear with the uniform. In his notebook there was a map and an address to the orphanage where he would live if this was to happen. His escape had been fully planned out. There were two problems now, no, three problems, the hunters were still looking for him, he was the only Rabbit-Human hybrid in the entire world now, and he didn't care at all about his life now. Everything that made him happy and everyone he loved was gone. The only thing to comfort him now was a teddy bear named Mr. Snugglemuffins, his last friend. But he didn't care about that anymore, the harshness of the world had already opened up to him and he hadn't even reached his adolescent stage in life. His life was going to fast, and he planned to make that useful to him.
At this point all the water in him had left in tears and he was dehydrated and tired, he fluttered his eyes closed very gently and ended up asleep within seconds.
This is the start of his new life then...

The rabbit boy awoke to the sound of fire crackling.

Shoot. The hunters must've done that.

Without hesitation he put on his hat and shoved the rest of his stuff in a leather sack, leaving his old clothes as fuel for the raging fire that would be killed him if he didn't have the instinct of an animal born to survive well in these areas. He didn't feel any emotion when he found out about the fire, not a single inch of fear existed, he didn't flinch.
He was a broken child without someone to love and to care for, or to have someone who cared about him. And he insisted in finding a way to fix himself. So he ran with the remaining hours of the night, to a small town in the country he lived in, Japan. The town had many humans walking around, some dragging young children by their sides, others alone. Sam didn't care, he just ran past them all, his tears had came back after drinking some water from a freshwater river, but that was a bad idea in this case, because a few people were looking at the traumatised child with worry in their eyes. Sam ignored them and ran to Okami Orphanage.
