Onika POV

Its 10:35pm and Im on my way home from work. Traffic is running slow so im gonna be a little late coming home and I know that wont sit well with him. Sitting at a red light my phone chimes.

Faree💕💍: Hurry tf up im hungry

*sighs then finished typing*I'll be there in 10min

The light was green. I locked my phone and began driving my phone chimed again but i didn't budge. I don't know why i'm still with him. I mean I love him and all but, we are not how we used to be. He comes home late most nights. I know i'm coming home late myself but i'm coming from work which is not the case with him. He makes money but not exactly legally which I personally don't mind but his whereabouts are very anonymous. He's cheated on me before but I forgave him and i feel like he's doing it again.

After turning a few corners I pull in my driveway. I take my keys out my purse and unlocked the front door. I sat my bags down on the table.

"Hey baby" he said sitting on the couch n keeping his eyes on the T.V.
"Hey", I said dryly I'm tired af and not in the mood.

"Whats wrong?" he turned around with concern

I sighed "Nothing.... Tired"

"Im hungry".

"Im tired" I mumbled

"what was that?"

''What you wanna eat baby?" I said sitting at the table unlocking my phone. I had a message from one of my closest friends, Rih. Me and Rih go way back i love her she's my bestfriend.

"Aye did you hear me!" he said loudly.

I rolled my eyes. "Sorry baby what was that" i said calmly hoping he would lower his loud ass voice

"I want some chicken fajita" he repeated

"Remind me again why you fired the chef." I asked

"Because that nigga cant cook."

"It was ramen noodles what could he possibly do wrong" i asked getting out a pan n the chicken and sauce I was very curious of his answer.

"It wasn't enough hot sauce and he forgot black pepper"
