Chapter two: "The accident"

My mum opened my bedroom door, i was still in bed because it was only 9 am.
Wake up little one, she said quietly.
I don't want to mum! It's sunday!
I told you we are going to the beach today, all of us, as a family.
Can't i just stay home?, i said
I was meant to hang out with Daisy anyway.
Don't be silly Zoey and get ready, please.
You can hang out with Daisy next week.
Fine, i said knewing i would never win an argument with her anyway.
She walked out the door and left the door open, which she knew would piss me off.
Ughh I'm so tired, and can't she at least shut the door?

i guess i have to get ready then...i got up, put some black skinny jeans on and a blue hoodie.

HOLLY! WE NEED TO GO!
I'M COMING DAD!
I ran downstairs, put some white sneakers on and got in the car.

Can you just put that phone down for a second and enjoy the view please?, my dad asked
I could..., i said and looked back down at my phone.
HOLLY PUT THAT PHONE DOWN NOW!
THIS WAS MEANT TO BE A FAMILY TRIP! , he said
WELL I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE, I WAS MEANT TO HANG OUT WITH DAISY TODAY!

WATCH OUT!, screamed my mum

All i saw was a car coming towards us in full speed.
It all happened so fast.

I heard a boy scream my name.
I couldnt move my head or open my eyes.
I didnt feel anything anymore.
Nothing.
I felt dead but i knew i wasn't.
He was getting me out of the car.
But who's he?
I wanted to open my eyes as i heard a horrible sound.
The sound of something exploding.
I opened my eyes, scared of what i would get to see.
All i saw was flames.
Everywhere.
I wanted to scream, but i just couldn't.
I saw my mum but i couldnt seem to find my dad anywhere.
All i saw was her screaming and crying.
I knew what it meant.
But this couldnt be real.
What have i done?
Was this all my fault?
Did i kill my dad?
I started crying, i just want to be dead already.
I deserve it, i did this to him.
I closed my eyes again, hoping for this all to be a dream.
