Chapter 1: what the fuck

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
7:46 AM
(Y/N POV)
you are laying in bed wondering what the hell that annoying beeping is...
"ughhh why won't that stop"
you roll over trying to cover your ears but it just wont stop
"UGHHHHHH FINE"
you sit up as the door swings open
you look up to see none other than your dad
"you know i have to leave like now sooo since you dont look so ready im guessing you will be walking to school"
you groan
"you guess right dad"
you throw the blankets back over you expecting him to leave
he looks at you semi frustrated
"if i get a call you're late again ill be taking all you packages for the next week"
you shoot up
"WAIT BUT YOU KNOW I JUST ORDERED THE NEW ISSUES OF AOT!!!"
your dad looks at you confused
"you know i don't know what that means ughh you and your mother.. just get ready im going to work before you make me late, i left breakfast and lunch on the table"
as he is about to leave he leans into the door one last time "i love you (y/n) oh and dont be late coming home i kinda know when your practice ends so be back for dinner your grandmother is coming over"
he walks off and you wait for the front door to close.
"ugh why does grandma always have to come over for her birthday just leave it alone"
you get out of bed having flashbacks of you and your mom come to you out of no where
you try and repress those thoughts past you but everything just floods in... her and her crash...
you let out a large sigh as you push your tears back
you get out of bed and head straight for your closet
you go through your mess of a closet and find a (color) shirt that doesn't smell as bad and some jeans
you look out the window and remember its December
you go back and grab your favorite jacket
after getting changed you go slap the deodorant on and some perfume. you head to the bathroom to brush your teeth and to brush your (c/h) hair and decide to put it up in a clip
you lightly put make up on and put on your nike blazers
"such a pain"
you finish packing your school bag and go downstairs to see the kitchen and living room a slight mess you look around and think out loud
"i miss you mom... dad has been such a mess without you, i guess you were always right... at least he is trying his best"
you grab your lunch and breakfast and go to check where your packages are
"YES TOMORROW THEY WILL FINALLY BE HERE"
you lock the door behind you and start your 15 minute walk to school
you look at your phone
"7:59 AM"
you sigh because you are already 4 minutes late
"dad cant take my shit if i get it first"

*time skip to getting to school*

you rush to your first period as you enter your teacher makes a snarky remark about you being late
you apologize and take your seat
"i cant be binging anime till 4am anymore"
you think to yourself
you sit there bored out of your mind until you just doze off
"MOM!
MOM !!!!!!
PLEASE I NEED YOU WITH ME"
you see the car... how it has been split into two
the drunk driver who hit her was getting into the ambulance next to her.
your dad is trying to cover your eyes as
you get into the ambulance
"its all my fault..."
*DING DING DING*
the bell shocks you awake
"has it really been two year since,
seems like her birthday was yesterday"

The rest of the day goes by pretty slow.
You and your best friend (bsf name) fuck around like always during lunch and before you realize it your in your 6th period which lucky had (bsf name) in it
your class finishes and you head to (sport) practice
goes by faster than expected, you say bye to your coach and your team mates and you head off
you start to think
"i really grandma isn't there i just want her to forget it and just let us move on"

*time skip getting home*
you walk into your house and you wish you were surprised.... your grandma
she sees you and gets up
"(Y/N) FINALLY YOURE HOME ME AND YOUR DAD WERE WAITING FOREVER eww you really do smell go shower so we can have your mothers birthday dinner!!"
you just nod and do as she wishes

you finish showering and change into your shorts and favorite aot shirt. You head down stairs hoping it isn't like last year
you get down the stairs and ofc its worst...
balloons everywhere, giant cake, presents for someone who isn't even here anymore, you dad in a party hat ughh she even got the dogs to wear them too.
you sit and listen because it is your grandma.
she made moms favorite for dinner... tasted nothing like she made it
your grandma starts to go on and on about mom as you eat what she made.
she keeps talking about her like she is here this is so frustrating
your dad and grandma keep talking about my mom...
"Oh when (Moms name) gets home we have to do pres"
your grandmother says
you had it
you slam your hand on the table
"SHE ISNT COMING HOME SO GET THIS WEIRD IDEA OUT OF YOUR HEAD THAT SHE IS"
she gets up shocked
"how i cope with losing MY daughter is none of your concern you are supposed to support me"
"YOUR DAUGHTER!! SHE WAS MY MOM. YOU CANT JUST DO THIS EVERY YEAR"
you father stands up
"y/n please go to your room you are obviously upset we can talk about this after-"
he is cut off by your grandmother
"you know what y/n lets stop pretending, im only grieving because of you.."
your dad cuts her off
"thats enough (grandmothers name) you know thats not true now i appreciate you coming but its time for you to leave"
your grandmother is obviously distraught but grabs her things and leaves...
your dad looks and you
"y/n you know its no-"
you stand
"noo she is right"
you start to cry and run upstairs slamming your door

you cry into your pillow as you think of that night
you need to get your mind off of this NOW
you open your laptop and last night's episode of aot started playing
it was annies episode
a flash back of your mom freaking out over this episode hits you
she is almost crying over levis squad passing
you smile as you remembered it was her who got you into anime
"that old anime weeb"
you say to yourself as all the episodes and series you binged with her
you decide to finish this episode

you start the episode over and you start to sleep
you can't stay awake
you head gets heavy and as you finish the episode, you start having more flash backs of your mom and her saying she would kill it if she was in the series. you fall forward into your laptop

you feel a thud on your whole body
you suddenly realize you are outside
confusion filling your body you shoot up
your surrounded by trees
you get up confused as fuck looking around
soon you look over as the sound of horses gets closer
you see two green hooded figures
you rub your eyes
they pull up to you
"Armin????? Reiner????"
your shocked
am i dead?
am i dreaming?
is this a prank??
all these questions rush into your brain but all you can say is
"WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

ARMINS POV
armins thoughts
"none of this makes sense how did Reiner survive and why is she heading towards eren now"
*THUD*
"what was that Reiner that sounded super close ???"
"i have no idea what if its a titan armin"

"no that was to soft lets go check it out"

reiner agrees and we head off into the direction it came from
as we get closer i see a small girl with
(y/c/h) and black shorts and fur socks???
as we get closer i see her sit up and she looks at us
"armin??? reiner???"
"she knows our names?"
she looks in shock as we get closer
"how did she know our names???
is she a titan?
what is she wearing?
is that me on her shirt?"
i think all these things but all i can say is
"what the fuck"
