Chapter 5

"Babe, wake up we have to go to school." I heard Taylor say in my ear. I groaned and got up. Then I realized I don't have any clothes to go to school in. They are at my house. "I don't have any clothes to wear.'' I said. "Well we will stop by your house on the way to school and get you clothes and you can change real quick." He kissed my cheek. I walked to the bathroom and used his mom curling iron on my hair. I just put on eyeliner and mascara.

"Okay babe. I'm ready to go." I grabbed his hand and we left and drove off to my house.
When we got there I ran inside and my mom was in the living room. "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU!? YOU SLUT!" She yelled in my face. "I'll tell you when I get home from school. I need to get dressed real quick and go to school." I ran upstairs and changed very fast and left the house.

"You look gorgeous baby." He said and we drove off to school."

It was just the regular day at school. But Zoey did approach us and yelled at us. "Look bitch. I will get Taylor back! He still loves me! He always has. I will do anything to break you guys up. One day I will be Mrs. Zoey Caniff." She smiled and left. "Those words really hurt." I immediately called Taylor and told him what she said. He sounded pissed.

After school Taylor drove me. "Bye baby. I'll see you tomorrow." He kissed me and left. "Bye. I love you." I said. "I love you too, Kamryn." He got in his car and left.

I walked inside and of course got criticized by my mom. "Now, tell me where the hell you were!!!" She slapped me in the face and I had a huge red hand mark. "I WAS AT MY BOYFRIENDS!!" I yelled. "What kind of person would want to go out with a nasty girl like you?" She laughed. I then busted out crying I couldn't take it anymore. But I am not going to cut because I promised Taylor that I wouldn't do it again. So I just ran out the door and left. I ran far away. I didn't know where I was going but I went pretty far.

My phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and it was Taylor. "Hey baby." I said into the phone. "Hey babe. Be ready, I'm coming yo pick you up. I'm taking you somewhere special." He said. "Okay baby." I said and hung up. I quickly ran back home and waited outside because I didn't want to see my wicked mother. At around 7:00, Taylor showed up. "Come on baby." He said and we drove off. He was driving with one hand and hand his other hand holding mine.

All of a sudden I saw beautiful lights and rides. "I brought you to the fair." He kissed my cheek. "I've never been to one." I surprisingly said. Taylor's mouth fell open. "Tell me that you are kidding." He said. "Not kidding." I laughed. "Well I'm going to make this one of your favorite memories." He said and we got out. There was a concession stand outside the fair that we had to by our wristbands from. "2 wristbands please." Taylor said to the lady. "Okay, that will be $40." She said and put the things on our wrists. Taylor handed the lady two twenty dollar bills and we walked into the carnival.

It was truly stunning. There was so many colorful lights and stuff. And since it was dark it was a million times prettier. "Kamryn." He said and turned towards me. "Yeah babe?" I said. He got down on knee and pulled a little black box out of his pocket. I put my hand over my mouth. Was he proposing? It's a little too early. "Now, I am not proposing yet. But just to let you know, I will be in the future. This is a promise ring. I promise you that I will always be here for you. I promise that we will always be together, that we will get married, and start a family together." He said and put the ring on my finger.

"I promise all of those things too." I smiled and kissed him. "I love you Kamryn. So much. "And I love you Taylor. So much more." I smiled and we continued walking.
