"Are you ready to get your first tattoo, darling?" Diana asked me, while handing dad the bowl with salad.
I sighed, "yes, I'm a hundred percent sure I want it."
"We already spoke with the tattoo artistto arrange the drawing and the price," Rebecca commented before chopping and eating some steak.
"So what did you decide to get, girls?"
"I want a tattoo as well!" George cut dad off.
"George don't interrupt your father when he speaks,"Diana scolded her son.
"I'm afraid you all will have to wait to know it, it's going to be a surprise."

After dinner, Rebecca and I dismissed everyone from the kitchen, so we could clean it up.
I had just finished washing the dishes while Rebecca was still wiping clean the cookers.
I jumped on the counter and began dangling my legs while waiting for her.
"Are you sure you want to do it?" I asked Becca.
She side glanced at me while drying her hands with a cloth, and sighed, "how many times do I have to tell you, love? I am, I want it."
I tried to smile but it came out more like a grimace, since I yawned at the same time.
Rebecca walked up to me, and patted my head; "you look so tired love," she kissed me on the temple.
"I feel tired inside, I don't know if you get what I mean, nevertheless I've spent three quarters of the day sleeping," I yawned once again.
"Nightmares?"
I nodded once, weakly.
I felt Rebecca's hands wrapping around my waist; "did you hear from Harry?"
"Yes, he asked me some stuff about university and the last lecture we attended."
"I see," she nodded, "come on now, it's better if you head to bed, otherwise you won't be up early enough tomorrow."

My dearest friend took me to my room and waited until I undressed and went bed; then she kissed me goodnight, before going downstairs.
I heard her talking to my parents before the front door closed with a thud.

I had my eyes clenched and my eyes shut while the needle entered and exited the skin on my front forearm, leaving behind the ink that made up my tattoo.
"We're almost finished," the tattoo artist said.
"How do you feel?" Rebecca asked in concern.
An heartbreaking hum slipped out of my mouth.
"Don't worry, you will be fine in a couple days," Matt told me, patting my shoulder while he recharged the inker machine.
I opened one of my eyes enought to manage to peer up at Matt.
Damn, he was one of a kind.
People were naturally captivated and attracted towards him, like protons with electrons.
He was quite tall and muscular; his blonde hair were styled into some sort of quiff, and he had perfect teeth you could see when he smiled.
He was surrounded by a particular aura, he seemed intriguing, maybe it was bacause of the tattoos scattered all over his arms.
"How long will it take to finish it?" I asked impatiently.
"It'll take the time it needs," he said while getting back to work, a little smirk playing on his lips.

"God, yes, it's perfect!" I beamed at the little swallow I would've had forever on my skin.
Rebecca had an equal one in the same spot.
"Why the swallows?" He asked.
"When swallows find a lifemate, they're never going to leave them, like Becca and I," I answered him.
He nodded in understanding and went back the counter to prepare the bill Rebecca was going to pay.

We were getting out the tattoo parlour, when I felt something taking my hand; I spun around and faced Matt.
"Did I forget something?" I questioned, my eyes scanning the room behind the man.
"You forgot to leave me your number," he said, leaving my hand, "I'd really like to see you again."
"As friends?" my eyes were wider than ever.
"Or more," he said, getting closer to me.
So I dropped the bomb.
"You should know I'm gay."
There were a couple seconds of peach silence during which Matt kept blinking.
Then he hummed, and said, "God, I understand you, how can someone not love women?"
He kissed my temple and he disappeared into another room.
I turned to Rebecca, that was silently watching the whole scene.
"Matt Damon, you're the weirdest person I've ever met!" I yelled, and then went out the parlour, chuckling.

"So, what about this Zayn lad?" I suddenly asked Rebecca, while driving.
"Pardon?" Rebecca stuttered, looking at me wide eyed.
"How long did you want to hide it, huh? I never hear from you anymore, and you keep tweeting strange stuff, and then that picture you've been tagged in," I listed her all of those little things I had noticed in the past weeks.
"Me? You were just so caught up among studying, Sophia and avoiding Julia, I just didn't want tobother you," she said in a somber voice.
"I haven't seen her since the lunch-date with Soph, more than a month ago."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be," I said soothingly, "I'm sorry I haven't been paying you attention lately."
There was a short silence.
"So, I met this lad during one of my lecture, he basically hit me with a pen on the head while playing some childish game with a friend of his, and-"
"God, I know we have to catch up but please Becca, breathe!" I chuckled.
"Yeah," she giggled, "then he came up to me and apologized and asked me out for a coffee, but we never really went out, you know, I was too shy to text him or anything, I don't even know if he likes .e anymore, since I dyed my hair purple and all," she said.
"Purple hair, green eyes, only a blind man couldn't like you."
She grinned, "he's so freaking cute, though, with that reven hair always perfectly quiffed, and those deep hazel eyes, and I swear his hands have magic, I've seen a coupl works and they're just amazing," she beamed.
"God, text him before I do it myself!"
"And his cheekbones, I mean, you can cut glass with those," she said, while reaching for her mobile in her backpack and then, with the corner of my eye, I saw her texting something.
"Hey, it's Rebecca, are you free tonight?" she read out loud and then turned at me, looking at me expectantly.
"Send it."
"Sent."
"How long have you been pining over him?"
"A week and a-" she abruptly shut up and narrowed her eyes at me, "I'm not pining over him."
Suddenly her mobile beeped and she quickly opened the text.
A loud, long, shout, made me almost crash my car into a tree while parking.
"He said, yes! He agreed!" she yelled.
"You are so not pining over him," I smirked.

A/N: Double update because I'm so sorry I disappeared for weeks.
All the love.
