The bell ringing fills my ears as well as the area around me. Banging and thumping of hundreds of students leaving their class and running to the front gates, followed soon after.
This made it evident, school... Had ended.
The sound of high pitched laughter filled my ears as the toilet door began to open. I quickly turned to the door, my eyes wide as they entered.
Their skirts rolled high and their faces caked in make up, but each and everyone of them remained beautiful.
My heart sped up and my hands immediately began to go clammy, when I saw her... Megan Lucy. The queen bee, the leader of The Cosmetics.
There was four members in The Cosmetics, four girls who ruled over Brighton and Hove Academy.
The youngest member was Connie Grace Smith, she was fifteen nearly sixteen like me but we were completely different.
Her hair was mid -length and a vibrant strawberry blonde, along with a pair of shimmering emerald eyes. Her skin was pale like fine porcelain, as her cheeks and the bridge of her nose had a light dusting of freckles.
Next to Connie was Sarah Bethan Stone, she was sixteen like the other two girls, her eyes a midnight blue, nicely contrasting her fair skin. Her hair, chestnut brown with some glowing blonde highlights.
The odd one out of the Barbie wannabes was Paige Leigh Ryan, her eyes like dark chocolate with specks of gold. Her hair ebony and down past her shoulders. All this complimenting her mocha skin tone.
Finally the queen bee...
Megan Lucy, what to say about her, she was perfect, complete and utter perfection. Her eyes the perfect shade of Sapphire blue, her hair the perfect mixture of platinum and ash blonde. Her skin, a perfect sun kissed tan, making her glow.
Everyone wanted to be her. Everyone thought she was perfect, but she wasn't. All she was, was fake, just like the plastic of the Barbie she was trying to be.
Their chatter immediately stopped as their eyes fell on me; my breathing increased as I felt my body heat up.
They said nothing, just stared at me, making me feel more panicky as each second passed. They continued to just stare at me, well that was until Megan began to laugh, then they all did.
All of them, laughing and pointing then laughing some more. Tears filled my eyes as I pushed though Connie and Sarah and ran out of the girls toilet and up the hallway, their laughter swirling around my head on repeat.
The tears where about to spill but I kept them back and continued to run. As the gates came in to view I stopped running but continued to keep my pace fast as I now walked, my hands tugging on my skirt as I chewed on my bottom lip.
I began to calm down slightly as I went though the gates and around the corner, I was nearly out, but a hand landed on my shoulder, making. My bands tighten on my skirt.
I turned around as a tear escaped and rolled down my cheek to see Mr Jesse looking down at me from his 6ft height.
Mr Jesse was in his early twenties and had just left university to become a Art teacher, well to be precise, My Art teacher.
His hair was dark brown and messily quiffed, like someone has ran their fingers though his hair as they kissed his well sculpted lip...
