Radley was 8 years old and he was very excited. His mother was taking him to the meadows just outside of the humble village of Chújú. His mother had packed a basket full of delicious food and her special homemade berry pie. Radley could smell her pie from a mile away, it was his favourite. "Mommy, mommy is that berry pie I can smell?" He asked excitedly, jumping up and down with a wide grin on his face. "Yes darling, it is indeed." His mother replied chuckling. "Ooh goodie!" Grinned Radley as he patted his stomach.
The meadows were Radley's favourite place. His mother sat on the blanket as she watched her young child prance around in the what seemed like millions of daisies. She would occasionally rub her stomach and whisper something to Radley's unborn sister. An hour passed when Radley came running to his mother and kneeled down in front of her. He outstretched his arm and opened his palm to reveal a beautiful necklace with what looked like a sapphire gem in the middle. "Look mommy! It's for you." Radley said with a huge grin on his face. "Darling that's beautiful!" His mother exclaimed. She pulled him into a huge hug and told him that she loved him lots.
A few hours past and the sun had begun to set. Exquisite, pink skies surrounded the pregnant mother and child. Radley grabbed his mothers hand and squeezed it tightly as they began to return to their home in the village. They stood outside the wooden gates of Chújú. His mother pointed to the large castle in the distance. "Look Radley that's where Daddy is." He waved enthusiastically and whispered 'Hello Daddy'. His mother smiled at him and took him back into the village where their home was located.

Meanwhile in the barracks of Ironhaven

"Mr Fletcher. I see you have been slacking recently. Is this correct?" Came the familiar voice of General Dargo. Mr Fletcher began to sweat intensely. "N....n..No sir this *gulp* is incorrect." Gulped Mr Fletcher. "Peter. Peter. Peter." Sighed Dargo. "SO YOU'RE ACCUSING ME OF LYING?" He slammed his hand on the table his face turning red. Peter Fletcher jumped out of his skin with freight. "I'm sorry sir I won't do it again." Blubbered Peter. "I don't think you understand Peter. If you are caught slacking you could risk the whole kingdom. I want you to travel out to Róngróng Village. They're having problems with the local Giblins. Pack your bags by noon tomorrow. Your steed will be waiting for you in the stables." Explained General Dargo.

The next day

Peter awoke from his slumber. He had to travel out to Róngróng village at noon today. He packed his back fresh with spring water, some food, a sack of gold coins and the pendant that was given to him by his dad. The pendant made him feel powerful. It had initials engraved into it.
G.F
P.F
R.F
These initials belonged to his father, him and his son Radley. He put the satchel over his shoulder and set off down to the stables. When he arrived a the stables a large black stallion was waiting for him. He mounted the horse and set off. He would spend the day travelling and then arrive in a small town close to Ironhaven, it was called Gōngjiáng. It was known for its number of blacksmiths. When he arrived he headed straight for the blacksmiths owned by his friend Thor, after leaving his horse in the stables. Peter was a good swordsman, well he was when he wanted to be. His sword was left with Thor after it was cut in half in a trading session. He gave it to Thor so he could reforge it. He exchanged three pieces of gold for his sword. Peter would sleep here tonight, There was a room above Thor's smithy. The room was cosy. It was small but it would do him for a night. There was brown blankets on a bundle of wool. It looked like Shepping wool. There was also an orange bucket in the corner which Peter presumed was to do his business in. Peter led down on the wool, it was surprisingly comfy, and pulled the blankets over him. These were also made from Shepping wool.

Meanwhile in Radley's home in Chújú

"Goodnight mommy." Shouted Radley. "Goodnight darling." Replied his mother. Radley pulled the covers up, under his chin and closed his eyes.
Dream
Radley was sat in the meadows with his mother. He was jumping about when suddenly there was a roaring noise coming from over yonder. Radley ignored it and carried on playing. He could see a man riding a horse toward them he looked like he was being followed by a group of people. He got closer and closer until Radley realised they weren't people. They were monsters. The monsters had green skin and large, blood soaked fangs. They were chasing the man on the horse. Some of the monsters were holding weapons like swords and bows. The horse got closer and suddenly everything felt as if it was in slow motion. One of the monsters jumped really high and shot an arrow at the rider. The arrow flew toward his chest and pierced it. The mans arms dropped to his sides. The monsters disappeared and the man on the horse fell off to the floor. As he fell to the floor Radley ran to his mother. He pointed in shock. He returned to where the man lay on the floor, the arrow still in his chest. His mother rolled over the man so he was laying on his back. Suddenly Radley realised who it was. His Father.

Radley awoke. He was covered in tears. He could hear footsteps out side his door. It suddenly opened. His mother walked in. She sat on the bed next to Radley. She asked what was wrong and comforted Radley. Radley sniffled and began to settle down. He eventually returned to sleep.

Chapter Glossary thing:
Giblin- a hybrid of a goblin and an imp. I basically wanted to make everything original and I came up with this.
Shepping- pretty much a sheep with wings.

A/N - Wow that took awhile. I have been writi this since mid night and it's finally done. It's a long chapter but I hope you enjoy it. 👻
