reimu hakurei is the sole maiden of the hakurei shrine, she is commonly called upon (or calls it uopn herslef) to investigate strange occurrences throughout gensokyo. reimu's abilities were highly limited. as the time passed, however, she developed her abilties, becoming able to manipulate the hakurei Yin-Yang Orb, special amulets, and her own spiritial power to fight more effectively.
reimu is commoly described as easygoing, curious, dutiful, and optiistic-sometimes overly so. her personality seems sympathetic toward many indiviaduals
