Anything But Normal

The rest of my day had stayed normal as usual. It had now been lunch after gym, honors writing, and history class. Bridget hadn't talked to me since advanced geometry for obvious reasons.  I just couldn't wait for this day to be over.

Malory and I sat at our usual table with all of our initials underneath the table. I was wondering if Bridget was going to sit by us with what had went on that morning. As I was rehearsing what I was going to say to Bridget if she sat by Malory and I. My phone buzzed letting me know I had received a new snapchat it was Grant.

We had snap chatted a lot on the weekends. Grant made me feel like we had something, but I guess along he was chatting with his new girlfriend Hannah. I am oblivious when it comes to people and relationships. I still hadn't decided if I should open it. I figured it couldn't do anything wrong I guess. I opened the snapchat it was a picture of him with the words "hey" at the bottom.  I rolled my eyes then tried to put on the best face possible for a quick selfie, but realized I was ugly. So I quickly took a picture of the table with caption "what?". I looked for him in the cafeteria I couldn't find him weird I had thought.  Then I snap chatted him again asking "where are you?". He replied with "looking for me are you?".  "Uh yah what's going on?" I asked him and he replied "Nothing don't tell Hannah,".  I had asked what he meant and Grant said to snap chat him again right after school. I was still a little weirded out by what he said.

I was about reply back when Malory said, "Hey look Bridget is coming guess things weren't so heated after all," "Hey Bridget about this morning," she cut me off by saying "No need," Then she flicked her auburn hair back which was her personal q to apologize. We made up, but I still had an uneasiness about Grant.

School passed by fairly slow and I was questioning wether I'll even have to actually use anything I was learning in school, in real life probably not. The ringing bell signaled that school was over. You couldn't get me out of there faster. I was tired and really didn't feel like snap chatting Grant, but I did anyways. "What is going on" I snap chatted him. "Drugs" Grant replied.
