Ryan sat in his usual seat in his fifth grade class. It had been three years sense he had found out the grave news that his baby sister didn't make it. He had been sad for several days following that. But, he has learned that you can't hold onto the past forever so now he tries to push that to the back of his mind.

What he is really happy about though is that he might have the chance of being a big brother again. His mom is pregnant with another baby girl again. Her name is Christina though.

His parents wanted something that was similar to the name Cassie. So why not the name Christina. Ryan thought it was a pretty name too after all.

Christina was due in a week and each day kept getting longer and longer because Ryan couldn't keep waiting. But, the days might of been getting longer but more worried. Questions like, what If Christina doesn't make it like Cassie? Or what if she doesn't like me? Kept going through Ryan's head.

He tried to pay attention to his teacher but he just couldn't. He was to nervous. His anxiety had kicked in bad. He wasn't getting enough sleep because of it also.

He could hear his teacher talking. Just talking though. Just sound. No words could be heard.

She stood at the board teaching the class so she can get her paycheck and go on with life.

Ryan felt distant. Like he wasn't In the class at all.

Soon he might have another sister and his life could get better or make him sad again.
