Bright white....

That's all Avriel could see for miles. He quickly stood, looking down at himself. His face turned warm as he saw his naked form, using his hands he quickly covered himself before glancing around. "Hello!" He called out, gulping and searching for at least someone, someone to answer his questions. "Why hello." A soothing voice came from behind him, causing him to quickly turn around.

A beautiful man stood behind him, also bare. His lovely mocha skin glistened in the light, showing off his thin but strong form. "It's okay to be alarmed. I am Kevin, what's your name?" He asked. "A-Avriel..." He whispered out, his face now a bright red. "Hello Avriel. Can you tell me the last thing you remember?", "I....I was being beaten....E-Eli lifted me and threw me back down....and all I felt was pain...". He looked up at him curiously. "Where am I? How am I okay now? Where's Scott...I-I need him..." He whispered, his body slightly shaking as he hugged himself.

"Well my young man...your in the promised land.." He said, hand gently resting on his shoulder, a jolly smile on his face. Avriel looked at him in disbelief, "I-i was told I....-", "Yes I know, and they were wrong. Anyone can come here, even if you were a...homosexual...that's not an improper term, is it?" He asked, the brunette chuckling and shaking his head. "Oh good..." He said sweetly, gently moving his hand off his shoulder.

"Now, the matter at hand..." He clapped his hands together and let out a sigh before continuing "You passed on before you were supposed to...you may go back...not as a human however... Not many people do this, they believe they lived enough and decide to stay here, but you can go back.". "Is that what Mitch did?" Avriel asked aloud, connecting similarities to the situation and him. "Mitch? Mitch....oh Mitch!" Kevin recognised the name and smiled "Yes he did, I greeted him here as well, I did not know you two were acquainted..", "Heh well..you could say more than aquatinted." The shorter man chuckled, "Why didn't you go? You decided to stay...why?", "Well Avriel...I decided to stay because I lived enough, I married a beautiful woman, Alyssa, we had three lovely children who are all grown up now, and now the two of us live here in peace..."

Avi smiled at how he would glow with love as he talked of his wife. "Don't you two get worried for them? For your children, and their children?" Kevin smiled at him and shook his head "I have faith in them, and I know I will see them again soon..." The two stood in comfortable silence, before Avriel asked one last question. "H-how...how did I die exactly?". Kevin's smile slowly faded away as he rubbed the back of us neck, his head slightly down. "Eli...when he threw you back down...your back, it cracked in half....as well as the back of your head, it...shattered..." He said with a gulp. "Oh...well...." The comfortable silence had turned into an awkward one.

"I-I accept the offer..." Avriel whispered quietly, causing the taller man to look up. "You do know, if you accept, you can't return here...", "Yes....I figured so..." Kevin's hand placed back onto his shoulder as he glanced at him with a smile. "Okay then...um, I apologize for this, but to return you I have to..." He let out an awkward chuckle before holding the bearded man's face in his hands, and sweetly pecking his lips.

Suddenly, everything changed, Kevin drifted away with the light, leaving Avi in total darkness. He slipped into an sleeping state, smiling as he felt something beneath him. His eyes slowly opened, the darkness crawling away as he saw his surroundings. He lied on top of the alter, dressed in white cloth. He slowly sat up and looked around, seeing two letters in his hand and perfumes around him, as well as candles. Slowly he stood up and stepped over to the stairs he knew oh too well, slowly he climbed up them, gulping as he heard Scott's voice to Mitch, filled with sorrow. "Should we bury him at sunset? He loved sunsets..." The blonde asked quietly, the both of them holding each other close, not able to hear the man they missed so's footsteps up the stairs, and into the room.

The brunette smiled at the two of them, silently clearing his throat before speaking. "I never want to see this end..." He mumbled, cutting through the silence and causing both of their heads to turn quickly. The stood frozen in place, two pairs of beautiful, wide eyes stared back at Avriel. "H-how are you...." Scott whispered, slowly letting go of the smaller and stepping over, his large hand gently caressing the green-eyed man's cheek. "I would break down heaven to be back here with you two...." Was all he was able to say before the blond's lips met his. They stayed in each other's arms for a bit, before the smaller slowly drifted from his touch, quickly stepping over to the tan boy and wrapping his arms tightly around him. "I-I thought you might...n-not accept the offer..." He whispered quietly, meeting Avi's sea foam green eyes before they kissed.

Joy filled the room, the three ecstatic, and full of shared love as they held each other close, enjoying the mixture of silence and he sounds of nature out their window. It was quickly cut through as they heard the large door of the Cathedral be thrown open, and slammed shut as people began to holler. "We have to go...now..." Mitch announced, quickly rushing to lock the door as the two other men pushed their beds to barricade it. "Pack up a bag or two, I'm not sure where we're going, but we can't stay here." The two nodded at the smallest man, quickly packing a few bags and throwing them out their window. Mitch quickly jumped out of it and began to float, as Avriel dragged Scott behind him. "I'll hold you up, I promise..." The smaller man whispered to him, kissing him lovingly before stepping out of the window, and holding his hand out to him. Scott looked back and saw the door being slammed into. "Here goes nothing!" He exclaimed before jumping out the window and into his love's arms.
