On the day of July the 24 2013 I was awaken but an excited voice, Ashleigh your baby, your baby!!!! I forced my tired eyes open to see my mother in my window! So the first thought can to my mine, was my horse had had her foal I have been waiting for for so long!!! I jumped out of bed and race out of the house leaving my shoes behind my Mom behind me was like oh it is so cute you will love it! So around the bush I go passing the other horses, that were separated from my horse by an electric wire, and I come to face the most beautiful baby I had ever seen I thank God in my heart for giving me such a gorgeous health foal! I pace quickly toward my horse, Pegasus by name and her new foal that was a little shy but I could still pet him :) Peg was a little nervous with me there but she got use to it. So after finding out the gender, it was a colt! I ran up to the house and grabbed my camera and took a lot of photos to email all my friends. I was so happy I just knew she was going to have her foal that day I had even invited three of my friends over that day, from the previous night! So after emailing everyone I ran back out there and played with them. My first visitors had arrived not long later my aunt Rebeca and Elaine they thought he was darling and I found out while they inspected him that he had one blue eye. Aunt Rebecca would just continue saying " oh Ashleigh he is so darling" . Just as they were leaving my three friends showed up, Brenda, Kass, and Cate.

They loved him too. Especially little five year old Kass, she had always been a fan of Pegasus and had been just as excited about the foal coming as I had been. Brenda took out her phone and snapped several photos of him, but they also wanted to get inside to see the picture of a Kids Camp that me and Brenda had gone to so just before we were about to head in one of our others horses, Sahara started leaning on the electric fence! So I raced over there and chased her away so she couldn't get near my horse and her new born. Then my Mother ran up to see how the fencer was working and it was todally fine so that was great I tested it and it was shocking good and hard so in we went to watch the slideshow....

After about half an hour of laughter and story shareing little Kass look nervously out the window towards the horse pen she turned to me quickly and said "Ummm..... Ash are those other horses in Pegasus's pen or is it just me?!?!?" So we all go over to the window and the thoughts racing through my mine were indescribable, when I realized that it wasn't just her! We all raced out of the house grabbing two lead ropes as we went. I got out there first Sahara was running around whinnying towards the back of Peg's pen, "ok good" I thought " she is way out there away from them so we dropped the fence and let them back into their proper pen. I ran over to the other side of Peg's pen and couldn't find her anywhere! Just as I started back to the others I heard a high pitched squeal in the direction of the other horse!!!!! I have never ran so fast in my life! As I ran over a hill there was Pegasus and her foal in the mist of the other three bigger horses, safe and sound.. Or so I thought......
