So my dad asked me if I wanted to be in a film, I was nervous. Hi, my name is Maia and I'm 12 years old. My Dad is a teacher at a collage, he teaches theater and directs shows. I have been in two of his collage productions so far but doing a film is different and I was scared. I was still in the second show that he directed but it was almost over when he asked me, he said it would be directed by the assistant stage manager of the show and it was for a project. She was really nice and I liked her but I said no. And of corse my dad, being who he is asked me why. Why? Why didn't I want to be in a film? Well in my head I was counting about a hundred things that could go wrong and maybe I wouldn't be good for the part. A tear rolled down my cheek. "Because I won't be good enough" I told him. He told me I would be great and convinced me to do it. Then I was excited!
